- Selangor PKR elections director Yaakob Sapari has urged party members not to be easily “charmed” by former PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli, and to think it through before joining Parti Bersama Malaysia (Bersama).
He said that while many are swayed by Rafizi’s rhetoric, politicians who hold office in the party and in government should be judged by their work.
Bersama leader Rafizi Ramli He claimed that Rafizi had never attended Selangor PKR leadership council meetings, even though he is a member of the council, by virtue of his position as the then Pandan division chief.
He said Rafizi also never called for meetings with the election machinery in Selangor, despite being the deputy president and the election director at the central level.
