ReplyDeleteQuestion. Based on the social media posts, the smoke was whitish grey in color. The smoke column seems huge. Fire was seen, from afar, to burn the structure of the building. What kind of material available that enable the fire to maintain burning on the wall surface? My understanding from attending OSHA safety induction courses, fire burn because of three elements: fuel, heat, and oxygen. Oxygen is present because carpark is a building with open ventilation structure. So, what was the fuel that triggered the fire, the fuel that enabled its spread, and what was the heat source? Was there fuel tank? Possibly, because petrol in car fuel tank. But those fuel was in a tank. Was it due to EV battery triggered? What about building electrical as source?
ReplyDeleteJust some preliminary thought. Let's see how smart and courageous are the the media in probing and forming a report. It is Genting Highland we are talking about. Like it or not, Kok Thay is a powerful don up there. Definitely no incriminating publicity must come out.
If EV as source, how in the world it can cause such extensive damage?
