Last Batang Kali landslide victim found, fatalities now at 31
Authorities today have found the remains of the last victim from the landslide tragedy that occurred at the Father’s Organic Farm in Hulu Selangor last week.
This brings the death tally to 31.
The victim was found on the ninth day of the search and recovery operation.
Hulu Selangor district police chief Sufian Abdullah is expected to organise a press conference later, The Star reported.
Today’s recovery efforts focused around the Hillview area of the campsite, said Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Norazam Khamis earlier.

Hopefully they have cross-reference and rechecked the list of all the missing persons before declaring the end of the SAR.
