Car No 3 - More Kerbau exposed on duplicity of "Private" funding

FMT:

Govt biggest shareholder in company driving 3rd national car, says MCA

MCA president Wee Ka Siong.
PETALING JAYA: MCA president Wee Ka Siong says Putrajaya’s claim that the new national car project would not involve public funds is false as the federal government is the largest shareholder in DreamEDGE Sdn Bhd, the company driving the project.
In a Facebook post, Wee zeroed in on Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng who had repeatedly said the project will be privately financed.
He said DreamEDGE’s largest shareholder was a company called Venturetech Sdn Bhd, which is 100% owned by Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT).
“MIGHT, in turn, is owned 100% by the government of Malaysia.”
Citing DreamEDGE’s paid-up capital of RM12.4 million up till 2018 and the losses it suffered last year, Wee voiced doubt that the Cyberjaya-based company had the financial strength to invest in the third national car project.
“Billions of ringgit will be needed. The company will surely need a large injection of funds.
“And I am confident this injection of funds will come from its biggest shareholder, that is the Pakatan Harapan government.”
Earlier today, it was announced that DreamEDGE will develop the third national car in collaboration with Daihatsu Motors in Japan, with the first model ready by 2021 and mass production by 2031.

  1. Toonsie has missed the boat. Still using 70s and 80s ideas in the 21st century. It won’t work....tick tock tick tock...

We should be focussing on intelligent driverless electric busses instead, to solve urban traffic congestion. Many Chinese cities already have massive fleet of electric busses. Daihatsu only know how to build small cars.

Ah Wee can help. He got Permanent Head Damage (PhD) in Traffic Jam.

  2. The pattern is becoming clear: Bersatu and PKR people only know how to create problems, DAP have to fight fire to solve, Amanah and Warisan lost at sea, missing in(action)...

Lynas licence renewal, UEC, Matriculation quota, Khat, Selangor unilateral conversion, Azmin sex video, Zakar Naik, 3rd national car, Perak, Johor & Johor MB...all created by Bersatu & PKR....fortunately we have a strong and stable DAP leadership with a vocal membership base to keep them honest...

"Weewee got it right this time only. But it ain't going to be translated into votes because he was dumb on a thousand and one other issues with regards to misuse/misappropriations of public funds during his time in Govt."

That shows Weewee is a hypocrite and chose to be dumb when it serves him and his party MCA politically.
