Of course I don't agree with Guan Eng because that will be merely delaying the in-coalition fight over victory spoils (should Pakatan wins GE14) which may lead to the disintegration of Pakatan Harapan. But OTOH, maybe delaying that squabble might have been Guan Eng's motive all along, wakakaka.
Still, 'delaying' such a likely squabble is merely delaying it, but not stopping its happening. We saw how in the previous Pakatan Rakyat, the coalition went at length to avoid naming shadow ministers but rather a communist-type committee of three in each shadow department, most probably in avoidance of the same fear of squabbling among coalition members over ministerial posts.
But let's leave that for another day and focus on what sweetie Teo Nie Ching said in the Malaysiakini report above:
Meanwhile earlier at the event, DAP international secretary and Kulai MP Teo Nie Ching tried to dispel the negativity surrounding Mahathir as prime minister candidate.
"The coming general election is not about Mahathir replacing Najib Razak or Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali replacing Rosmah Mansor.
”We are speaking of changing the government, and we will have an entirely new cabinet. I really look forward to it because I have been working with a group of excellent individuals," she said.
"I feel grateful because my colleagues are of such calibre and wisdom.
"Just imagine, besides Mahathir as premier and Siti Hasmah as first lady, we would have DAP deputy president Gobind Singh Deo as Home Minister, and Liew Chin Tong said he would like to be the transport minister," she said.
Leaders like Mohamad Sabu, Rafizi Ramli, Mukhriz Mahathir, Khalid Samad would also be appointed as cabinet members, she said.
"Don't you think this is the Malaysia we can anticipate?" she asked.
Firstly, she has been rather cute to describe Siti Hasmah as 'first lady', wakakaka, but I won't dwell on this.

Far more importantly, has that been Sweetie's Freudian slip to suggest Gobind Deo as Home Minister or has the DAP plans to merebut (seize) the Home Minister's post - well, okay lah, 'claim' the post? Wakakaka.
If that will be the case, then I can sleep a bit more peacefully knowing Home Ministry will be under trusted Gobind Singh Deo rather than nasty ferocious leopards like Azmin Ali, Rafizi Ramli, Moody and other Pribumi MPs.
you can trust me - I am a HOME-ly person wakakaka |
