Return of the Royals?

Have you notice that some of our Malaysian royalty, in particular the Royal House of Johor, have been making a smart comeback, specifically into the rakyat's (people's) affection?

In my personal view, I reckon the Royal Houses of Perak and Selangor haven't done quite as well as the Royal House of Johor in the area of winning public affection - an irony if we recall that once the most southern Royal House was feared and even hated by some.
