Who's perpetuating the Kampung Buah Pala issue?

The Star Online’s 13 in Kg Buah Pala want money instead of house reported:

In yet another twist, 13 households in Kampung Buah Pala want a RM300,000 compensation each from developer Nusmetro Ventures (P) Sdn Bhd instead of a double-storey terrace house.

Village residents association chairman M. Sugumaran said the money would enable them to build a heritage village by themselves on a nearby piece of private land.

Sugumaran claimed: “Some well-wishers have come forward to help us secure the land measuring about 2.4ha.”

I am not sure when the KBP saga will end. Mr Sugumaran seems determined to perpetuate it – I wonder why?

And I wonder too whether he actually has the support of all the villagers?

Again, I wonder who are those ‘well-wishers’?

I invite Sugumaran to name them!

But, could it be those flamboyant grandstanding boastful Johnnies-come-lately (to the saga) who claimed they have RM3+ million to buy the land?

Well, what’s stopping them? Since they claimed to have the money they should go ahead and get the 2.4ha land ... ... and not jeopardise the villagers' stake to the compensation of the double-storey terrace houses.

I hope those so-called leaders will stop f*-ing around with other peoples' lives and assets.

  1. Maybe Samivelu & T Mohan should offer their neighborhood to these heritage people. And MIC can also donate the RM 3 million it was prepared to pay for this land. Then Sugu can herd his cows & continue bull shitting to his hearts content.

  2. that's right. better get money instead of empty promise and another round of crying and candlelight vigil. LGE is lame, he failed this time, and certainly he'll fail the next one. he's not the great KTK. cash is KING and promise. if LGE is sincere, he should push the developer to "muntah" the money instead giving house just "on paper" only.
