PKR = UMNO but DAP ≠ Gerakan

Malaysiakini - Crisis deepens in Penang Pakatan where I read the best statement by Ng Wei Aik when he referred to those demanding PKR councillors:

"They think they are Umno, but we, the DAP, are not Gerakan!”

With one bamboo Ng trashed UMNO, Gerakan and of course PKR wakakaka! Economy of effort!

And good on Jeff Ooi for giving Raja Bodek Gobalakrishnan a taste of his kay-poh-chnee medicine – dei Gobala, go chase and stop phantom buses lah wakakaka.

The problem with some (only some) PKR members is that they haven’t gotten over their UMNO mentality.

Aiyah! You yourself have already said it before - those fruits are from the Umno tree. So, whaddaya expect?! Bad tree produces bad fruits, lah!

  2. I am not sure how UMNO can get blamed for PKR bad deeds. So if they did something good then it is because of their UMNO roots too. This labelling is so misleading and unfair, to both UMNO and PKR who is trying to project an image of their own under Anwar. Would PKR won any seats if they are in fact UMNO in disguise? I think the voters know who they are voting for. If PKR is unworthy, then the voters should reconsider in the next election.

  3. DAP tells eight to resign
    By ANDREA FILMER

GEORGE TOWN: The DAP-PKR spat over the Seberang Prai Municipal Council president’s post deepened with DAP leaders calling for the immediate resignation of the defiant PKR municipal councillors.

Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng’s chief of staff Jeff Ooi yesterday gave eight PKR councillors a 24-hour ultimatum to resign following their boycott of the swearing-in ceremony of former North Seberang Prai district officer Mokhtar Mohd Jait as council president.

“If they remain defiant and insist they have no confidence in the new president, how can they possibly perform their duties?” asked Ooi, also Jelutong MP in a press statement.

He added the Penang state government was “only accountable to the people” and would soon forward a memorandum from all DAP state representatives to refer the PKR councillors to the state executive council for review.

Komtar assemblyman Ng Wei Aik and DAP whip in the council, Soon Lip Chee also reportedly urged the eight PKR councillors to resign for defying the state exco’s decision to appoint Mokhtar.

  4. Husam: We want PM’s post if Pakatan topples BN

SHAH ALAM: The post of Prime Minister should belong to PAS if Pakatan Rakyat succeeds in toppling the Barisan Nasional government, PAS vice-president Datuk Husam Musa said.

He said that PAS should be the alternative to Umno, and should not be seen as being beneath Umno.

“If PAS works with Umno, our leader may be reduced to Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department.

“It will be a pity if PAS has to play a supplementary role to Umno. Umno will only make PAS its kuda tunggangan (beast of burden),” he said.

He said this yesterday when asked about the possibility of having unity government talks with Umno.

PKR vice president Azmin Ali said the party rejected any proposal to form a unity government with Umno and the Barisan Nasional.

Former PAS Youth chief Salahuddin Ayub said Umno should be prepared to withdraw from the political arena. “Umno will be buried,” he said.

Anwar , apa macam sekarang ? hahaha
nak jadi PM pun sangat susah lah ! nampak pun tak boleh jadi for life .
So now its going to be PAS VS PKR VS DAP if they form the unity government ! hahaha ..

    Husam
Tell us how PAS can become PM.
Your Changkat Jong Assenblyman yesterday strayed into the m-bike path at Federal Highway.
Ooh, that is just highway, not running the government.
Only Umno is fit to become PM.
But between PAS and PR, I'd rather PAS be PM.
    Tapi belajar dulu nak memerintah.
    Jangan masuk lane salah.
Lane PR tak dapat jamin PAS jadi PM, tau.
That Assemblyman got the right car, but wrong drivinglah to become PM material.
