RIGHT WING TABLOIDS win UK local elections by blaming "them"

From the FB page of:

THE POPULIST RIGHT WING TABLOID bloc is the big winner in the battle for new seats in the UK local elections, with their party, Reform UK, snapping up multiple seats.
The UK’s problems are caused by immigrants and woke people, they argue. Throw ‘em out!
Meanwhile, people with less reactionary views are also abandoning the mainstream parties, with the lively upstart Green Party taking their seats.
The two ruling parties, Labour and the Conservatives are losing multiple seats across England, the first part of the United Kingdom to file results.
.
PROBLEMS CAUSED BY OTHERS
Reform is the favored party of the populist rightwing tabloids, the Daily Mail, Daily Express, The Sun, and the Daily Telegraph (considered a broadsheet tabloid).
They have been working hard to persuade the electorate that all the problems are caused by "them" [fill in your preferring hate target].
.
CHANGES AHEAD?
But power flowing into the hands of Nigel Farage at council level doesn’t mean that there will be major changes in the near future.
The elections are for local councils, NOT for the Prime Minister's job.
And the two ruling parties have stitched up the system so tightly that it’s very hard for newcomers to have any real effect.
But Farage will certainly battle to take the top job. And the Greens, cheered by their rising support, will be empowered by many critics of Reform to stop them.
Conclusion: If you thought British politics was uncomfortably polarized before, just wait.
