Leave the govt if you’re not sincere in your support, says Selangor PKR Youth

FMT:

Leave the govt if you’re not sincere in your support, says Selangor PKR Youth

Its chief Izuan Kasim’s comments come in the wake of the thinly-veiled threats made by an MIC leader last weekend.

Selangor PKR Youth chief Izuan Kasim said partners in the ruling government should give space to the prime minister to improve conditions in the country and fix the economy.

PUTRAJAYA: Component parties within the government which are not sincere in their support for Anwar Ibrahim’s administration should walk away, says Selangor PKR Youth chief Izuan Kasim.

He said partners in the ruling government should give space to the prime minister to improve conditions in the country and fix the economy rather than cause problems for the coalition.

“My advice to fellow components: if you aren’t sincere in supporting us, just leave.

“There is no need to be a thorn in our side,” said Izuan during the PKR Congress held at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre.

He clarified with FMT that his comments were related to statements made by MIC deputy president M Saravanan last Saturday.

At his party’s annual general meeting, Saravanan reportedly said MIC would not hesitate to “take further action” against the government if “recognition” was not given.

However, he would not elaborate on what he meant by “recognition” and “further action”.
