Muda to contest state elections solo
Kilimanjaro: Perikatan Nasional (PN) heading towards a "theocratic" state cannot be an option for many Malaysians.
Pakatan Harapan is running with the hares and hunting with the hounds, is no better. If it truly means what it says, Muda is a better option than either of the major political blocs. I would support and vote for Muda and why not?
The other two are really "lost" and dragging us into the pits of their own. There is a substantial number of disenchanted voters of both the two main political blocs and Muda should start tapping into them.
What can be worse than a "theocratic" state from PN or Madani Malaysia rhetoric? Let us see whether at least these Muda chaps have spines and care for the future of this country. We have been counting on a viable alternative and I will talk to "my bloc" to convince them to go for Muda.
apanama is back: One needs to understand that Malaysia is actually in dire need of a third force. We are still in our cocoon. The cocoon consists of race, religion and the so-called “reformasi”.
Let Muda go solo in the coming six state elections. They may lose their seats and lose deposits. So be it.
While losing the seats and losing deposits, the worst thing is they may even split the vote and let PN win.
So be it. Folks, we need to take a risk to see how far Malaysian voters are willing to vote for a third force.
Do not use the 15th general election results as a benchmark whereby Muda just won one seat. In the Johor state election, Muda had close to 50,000 popular votes with one seat.

Harapan and Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim have been non-committal about working with them.

Harapan must consider the effect of votes being split. It is also good that Muda president Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman has given everyone notice.
World Citizen: Muda was supposed to mobilise the youth vote for the Harapan coalition in the 15th general election.
They not only fared so badly but enabled PAS to get most of the Malay youth votes by whatever means. Muda also fared badly in the seats they contested in the 15th general election.
All in all, Muda has not proven itself but is only good at demanding this and that.
You can go alone, Muda, and voters will not give two hoots about you.

Now you want to be a third force like what Pejuang did during the 15th general election.
The question I would like to ask is, who are you working for?
Is it the man that ruled this country for 22 years and also 22 months or you are the secret agent of former prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin?
Because if you are for the people, you will put everything at the back and defend this unity government, but clearly say you are the dangerous mole in this unity government.
KK Voter: Syed Saddiq explained that the “new politics” that Muda will bring into the state polls will go beyond partisan, and will revolve around the people’s needs and principles.
Can you explain exactly what that means in simple English? Sounds like a lot of rhetoric, you know, the way "old politics" works.
Cowboy: Muda brings no added value to Harapan as proven in the last general election. Unless they could counter PN in the Malay strongholds, only then should Harapan consider bringing them in. As it is now, allowing them to fight along with Harapan will cause more instability, especially among Harapan’s youth wings.
So let Muda find their strengths and decide whether the party could be significant post the upcoming six state elections. Muda remains a trial-and-error proposition.
