RUSSIA-UKRAINE WAR

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy urged Western leaders to supply anti-aircraft defense systems to his embattled nation as Russian forces assaulted Lysychansk, the last big city still held by Ukrainian troops in eastern Luhansk province.

Addressing the Group of Seven summit in the Bavarian Alps via video link, Zelenskiy also asked for help to export grain from Ukraine and for more sanctions on Russia.

The United States is likely to announce this week the purchase of an advanced medium to long range surface-to-air missile defense system for Ukraine, a source told Reuters.

The G7 will commit tomorrow to a new package of coordinated actions aimed at increasing pressure on Russia and will finalize plans for a price cap on Russian oil, a senior U.S. official said.

  1. Who would repay all these military HW supplies (ooop… purchases)?

None of these HW r given FOC & they cost a bomb (wakakaka… hydrogen)!

The US govt has been supplying the most - with the dollar printing press running overtime to issue the greenbacks to his weaponry manufacturers & merchants.

If Ukraine finally goes down - whether as a whole or fractionalized into a landlocked western half - the Ukrainians would pay back all these debts for generations, both in bodily sufferings & financial losts.

There might not be any Ukraine left if all these blood 'samaritans' demand repayments. & Ukraine has only the western region left!

By then, Ukraine has lost his eastern industrial hub & most of the fertile black soil regions of Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Odessa.

That comedian turned president would be enjoying his cozy live in Southern Florida - far far away from all those repayment chants!
