As PN leaders hail budget, Najib says BN support hinges on amendments

Najib Razak says BN will only support the budget for next year if two conditions are met

KUALA LUMPUR: Barisan Nasional backbencher chief Najib Razak today said they will only support the 2021 budget if the government makes amendments to the Supply Bill.

He said they want the government to extend the loan moratorium by six months and allow a one-off RM10,000 withdrawal from the Employers Provident Fund (EPF).

“Our support (for the budget) is based on these two conditions. It is a conditional support,” he said in his 90-minute speech during the budget debate at the Dewan Rakyat today.

Najib’s remarks came as Perikatan Nasional leaders voiced support for the budget.

  1. Why no push for GST Jibby?

Jibby must insist the re-introduction of the most efficient and fairest taxation system ever devised, practiced in more than 500 countries, ha ha ha, otherwise no BN support for the 2021 Budget.

    Go On. Just Do It.

And BTW please pay back LHDN the 1.7B in back taxes that you owe.

  2. The amount of funds Bossku stole from the Malaysian people, combined with his unpaid Income Tax could solve a very significant portion of the country's financial woes.

  3. this is the kind of statement that only the leader of a coalition or party makes, which confirms my suspicion that hamidi is just an errand boy and your idol is still the defacto leader of umno/bn but if I was him I wouldn't be so cock sure confident unless I have the support of the majority of lawmakers, bossku beginning to sound like anwar, all thunder but no rain

  5. Jibby the Thief asks that EPF account holders have access to "their money" in Account 1. But what happened to the 4 BILLION of KWAP money, government workers pension money, that Jibby transferred to SRC and subsequently to Switzerland.....????

No wonder Maria Chin and other MPs walked out of parliament when the convicted criminal was allowed to debate the budget.
