Go apologize to Michelle

Malaysiakini - Siti Nurhaliza latest to roast Tabung Haji (extracts)

... local star singer Siti Nurhaliza has weighed into the fiasco.

"What happened in the Tabung Haji case is very shameful. Allah please protect us," she said in a Twitter posting. [...]

Subsequently, Siti in a posting on photo sharing site Instagram said she will always love and be with Mahathir for the former prime minister's past contributions to the country.

"He should be appreciated and he is a good example," she said in her posting which received over 17,000 "likes".

I have no doubt more 'likes' will be forthcoming, mostly from Pakatan wakakaka, despite who she is openly, pointedly and enthusiastically supporting.

But Pakatan followers, most if not all, are not unlike US President Franklin D Roosevelt who described the Nicaraguan dictator Anastasio Somoza as “He may be a bastard, but he’s our bastard”.

No, I'm wrong, they are by far worse, wakakaka. While Roosevelt was playing expedient politics, our current admirers of Dr M has gone that extra metre, so to speak.

Thus, they not only concurred with sweetie Siti in supporting their once-foe but would go as far as to describe Dr M, I suspect wakakaka, as the greatest Malaysian to ever walk on our tanah air, a national hero, a post I published just last month in which I penned:

Remember when Dr Mahathir was thumping a poor besieged PM AAB, PAS was praising the Grand Ole Man sky-high?

PAS used to call Dr Mahathir the 'devil' but during his tiff with AAB, he (the 'devil', wakakaka) was elevated back to 'heaven', perhaps by a PAS advanced 'ticket to heaven' to become an archangel, and was even hailed as a national hero and probably a national treasure as well, wakakaka.

Currently, there are talks, suggestions, wishful hopes, that the "national hero" teams up with Pakatan, or that Pakatan coopts him into a partnership to bring down Najib.

People have said that politics make strange bedfellows, as well as politics is the art of the impossible, but I wonder what place in politics would silly qualities like scruples, principles and consistency of integrity still have? How I wish Bhai is still around!

Yes, Dr M was hated then adored then hated but now adulated, wakakaka. He has even been touted as the federal Opposition Leader, wakakaka again.

Perhaps a word from the Bard now would be appropriate:

Sigh no more, ladies, sigh no more,
Men were deceivers ever,
One foot in sea and one on shore;
To one thing constant never

... but didn't Owen Feltam (1602 - 1668) said: The irresolute man flecks from one egg to another, so hatches nothing.

By the by, do you guys remember this sweetie?

Please allow me to remind you.

As I oft said, in politics Malaysians in general have might have taken up with Franklin Roosevelt's notorious expedient political statement but I suspect, more with former US President George Bush's infamous bullying threat of "Either you're with us or against us!"

They can only be for (thus happy with) or against (thus railing against) a political viewpoint. There's no in-between, neutral position or qualified discrete assessment of political policies or politicians they would tolerate let alone allow. That's why I have been against Brother Harris' ABU which indiscriminately chopped off good UMNO blokes like Saifuddin Abdullah and allowed a bloke like Nasrudin Hassan At-Tantawi to take his place as MP for Temerloh.

This Nasrudin bloke has a reckless and irresponsible way with his mouth. In 2010 he as PAS Youth Chief made stupid statements, that babies abandoned through illicit births had been the result of Valentine's Day and New Year's Day celebrations. Incidentally, both events are non-Muslim celebrations on which he should have kept his wild intrusive irresponsible opinions to himself.

Malaysiakini reported in 2010 in its Valentine's Day blamed for baby dumping that Nasrudin Hassan had blamed the festivity celebrations on those two days as encouraging free sex that led to ... yadda yadda yadda ... culminating in baby dumping.

Nasrudin unbelievably claimed: "It's an indication that the 'mating season' occurred during the New Year's Day celebrations."

Bullsh*t, my dear Yang Amat Alim, New Year's Days and Valentine’s Days have been celebrated all over the world for centuries, yet we haven't seen Malaysia's kind of baby dumping in those foreign countries.

Tell you a bloody secret Ustaz ..... because their societies are far more humane, compassionate, caring, supportive and most important of all, less misogynistic, and fortunately without people like you and some of your mates in PAS.

Misogynistic? Please read my 2006 post Wives not satisfying husbands are abusive!

That's who we'll get with a PAS government.

Alas, the sad conclusion becomes obvious that many (admittedly not all like sweet naive kaytee, wakakaka) Pakatan followers can only see (discern, distinguish, differentiate) things in black or white - f* dull people or f* dullards, wakakaka.

We now come to the core of out post, related to our second sweetie, Michelle Yeoh. In 2013 HM the Agong honoured Malaysia's most renowned actor, sweetie Michelle with a Tan Sri-ship.

Many pro Pakatan supporters somehow forgot their very own demand for 'freedom' of this and that, and went into berserk mode, whacking Michelle Yeoh for ... guess what? ... for exercising her 'freedom of association' and 'freedom of expression'. Just beat that f* double standard hypocrisy!

Why? Because Michelle had shown her friendship and thus support for AAB and also that her dad is a MCA leader, from a party (wakakaka) which supports Dr M, exactly like Siti Nurhaliza!

Exactly like Siti Nurhaliza supporting Dr M! Got that?

Don't you think that's food for thoughts? That is, if you guys can think, wakakaka.

But nonetheless, I ask again: Hellooooo there, remember 'freedom of association' and 'freedom of expression', 'freedom' of ... whatever?

The sheer hypocrisy and double-standards of Pakatan supporters (I'm ashamed to say I am one though I qualify myself by asserting I support only DAP) in their vile vitriolic vicious and vehement buses of her for her political affiliation and expression of support, her fundamental right to do so, spread even into the Hong Kong and China's entertainment net, and have been a disgraceful, disappointing and (quite frankly) disturbing demonstration of Malaysian political immaturity - and a shameful indictment of even our fundamental civility and sense of decency.

Michelle Yeoh is Malaysia's most globally recognized entertainment talent, bar none, and has not only been honoured twice with honours (datukship) by her home state of Perak but by France as well, in fact twice within 5 years, with the Chevalier de la Légion d'honneur and the Officier de la Légion d'honneur, and of course then recently in 2013, by HM the Agong with a Tan Sri-ship.

Yet from those unacceptable uncivilised and uncouth abuses by so-called Malaysians, the very people who brazenly clamour for 'freedom' of this and that, you might wonder whether she is notorious in her own nation, perhaps as a serial killer, child abuser or fratricidal or matricidal psychopath, or that she had pilfered hundreds of billions away.

So today we have Siti Nurhaliza doing what Michelle did, expressing her political affiliations, and we see startling, nay, contrasting reactions form Pakatan supporters.

I have no doubt those mealy-mouthed morons will try to explain their differential treatment of the two sweeties' political affiliation away with some bull.

Be decent, honorable and repentant - go apologize to Michelle, ... oh ... and by the way, tell her I send you, wakakaka.

  1. Freedom of speech is depending on whom you criticize or bodek. It all depends on whom you asked.Just ask the fuckup IGP.He will tell you that one can be charge for sedition for protesting, but his brother cannot be charge under the sedition law for forcing the church to take down it's cross.

  2. i think pakatan supporters r consistent, they support the cause regardless of personalities, the problem is those high horse plus hypo + no (or more than 2) standard middle fence sitter that like to comment / wtite like a priest n ulama, only talk but no substance, no action.

i can only say michelle is as "pragmatic" as those chinese, typical kiasi useless piece of shit.

    1. as "consistent" as Anwar? wakakaka

    2. a bemusing play of politics by a pkr literati

    3. Mirroring anybody? Wakakaka...

  3. There is an important difference between being political and partisan politics.

When Michelle Yeoh got out in public at a BN political dinner urging people to support Barisan Nasional , she was engaging in public partisan politics.
As a political operative, her political stand was fair game for people to attack - it is not hypocrisy or double standards. She has a right to her political stand, so do her critics.

Some people attacked her person on-line and that is wrong. However, I can understand where they were coming from.
Given the decades history and on-going BN/IUMNO/ MCA corruption, human rights abuses, misuse of power, breach of trust, racism , it was really rich of this affluent, privileged foreign resident (which she really is) to come and lecture Malaysians on who they should give their political support.
I don't give a F*ck how many dog-tags have been given her by the Malaysian and French governments.

Siti Nurhaliza made a stand on an issue - 1MDB and Tabung Haji.
"What happened in the Tabung Haji case is very shameful. Allah please protect us," is what she actually Tweeted.

It is obviously political, but she did not engage in partisan politics. There is no UMNO, BN, PKR, PAS, DAP mentioned anywhere.
Mahathir ? Lots of people love Mahathir. I don't but that's a different subject.

1MDB and its RM 40,000,000,000 Rakyat-guaranteed debt should concern every thinking Malaysian , unless you live in a cave or are a profoundly committed Najib supporter. ....or a Najib stooge (not implying anything about anyone in particular wakakakaka)

The last legally documented valuation of the TRX land was RM 64 per sq foot, sold by the Government of Malaysia to 1MDB.
Tabung Haji bought the land, undeveloped (nothing build on it, no infrastructure, nadda ) for RM 2,773 per square foot. or a 4232 % markup.
Either Tabung Haji allowed itself to be royally Fucked by 1MDB or the Malaysian government allowed itself to be royally Fucked by 1MDB.
Either way, the stench is overwhelming.

Relatively small though the Tabung Haji deal was, it has strong reverberations in the Malay heartland, because the fund comprises the savings of the Pakciks and Makciks saving for their 1 in a lifetime Haj trip to Mecca.

    1. "Some people attacked her person on-line and that is wrong. However, I can understand where they were coming from."

Really? It's 'understandable' (your word) for ad hominem attacks?

Siti Nurhaliza made MORE than a stand on an issue - read my post again please.

    2. BTW, referring to your " it was really rich of this affluent, privileged foreign resident (which she really is) to come and lecture Malaysians on who they should give their political support" are you saying Malaysians who live overseas to work are no longer Malaysians, just like how/what the EC has been treating them, as non-eligible to vote? Aren't you then exactly like the EC?

  4. .Michelle Yeoh has the right to make her political stand.
Other people perfectly have the right to dislike her political stand.

Where does it show me saying Malaysians who live overseas to work are no longer Malaysians ?
I for one find it objectionable for this rich, elitist overseas resident Malaysian to come and lecture me to support corrupt, racist Barisan Nasional.
Or are you saying I do not have that right to object to Michelle Yeoh's politics ?

    1. did you not describe her as a "foreign resident"? What intrinsic meaning does that convey?

you're right in supporting my stand that "Michelle Yeoh has the right to make her political stand" in exactly the same way as Siti Nurhaliza has. Those who disagree with her have a right to do so but certainly no right to turn that difference into personal vile attacks as if people like Michelle Yeoh cannot or are not allowed to have a political stand/preference different from those attackers

To reiterate "Other people perfectly have the right to dislike her political stand" you're again right in that it's wrong to attack her ad hominem, but as just mentioned earlier, you should not say you could understand why - no one should ever condone or "understand" ad hominem attacks, because it would leave the political reason aside, turning the attack into a personal one which has no place in civilised politics

The same people who had attacked Michelle are strangely dumb right now with regards to Siti Nurhaliza's staunch support for Dr M's political-personal attacks against Najib when she's supporting Dr M-UMNO side politics, same as Michelle Yeoh's, mind you, not that I would ever advocate nor condone any attacks against Siti for her political stand. She has her rights and so does Michelle Yeoh.

What's good for the goose should be good for the gander

  5. I'm just a simple working man...what is wrong is and remains wrong, regardless who brought up the issue or his motives.

It seems to me morally wrong to give a free ride to Najib over the 1MDB scandal just because you dislike the messenger , either his person or his politics, Mahathir, and earlier on, Rafizi.

Anwar is out of the picture, but I suspect if Anwar were the one who brought up the 1MDB issue, you would attack him, not the 1MDB scandal.

    "Shoot the messenger syndrome ?"

    Sounds too Machiavellian to me.

    1. The issue in this post is not so much about Najib and Dr M, but rather the shameful lamentable double standards applied by Pakatan supporters to Michelle Yeoh and Siti Nurhaliza, BOTH of whom support BN-UMNO

  6. Frankly, I'm thinking I much prefer Najib to hang on as long as possible as UMNO President and PM.
Ideally until just before the next General Elections, by which time It will be impossible for UMNO to repair the damage.

The list of liabilities and scandals associated with Jibby appear fishing inside a barrel.

    1. I too am also among those who prefer this 'invisible' PM to continue until the next GE.....but 2018 ( presuming Najib take this to the full term ) is wayy too long.... too many things could happen, like they said, one week in politics is a long time - country could end up as the Greece-Of-Asia, massive riots could happen, civil war could happen/war with Sabah,Sarawak could happen, mass exodus of the Chinese could happen, a coup could happen, the grande old man kicking the bucket could happen, impeachment could the Chinese said, we live in interesting time.

  7. How do you know those who clicked "Like" on Siti Nurhaliza's post weren't actually UMNO members of the Mahathir wing ?
You have a special means to know ? Even Instagram claims they don't have a means of tracing.

The one person I know who actually said they clicked "Like" on the post is an UMNO member....go figure that out...

    1. any ad hominem attacks against Siti as have been the shameful case for Michelle when she voiced her support for BN?

    2. "What happened in the Tabung Haji case is very shameful. Allah please protect us," - what Siti Nurhaliza said is similar to what Pakatan activists such as Rafizi and Tony Puah have been highilighting.

Though we all know she is a basically an UMNO supporter, in this context there is no reason for Pakatan supporters to attack her views.

Its all political, yes, but not hypocrisy.

On the other hand, the "Likes" on her Instagram post praising Mahathir may well be the work of UMNO members - nobody has any way of knowing one way or another.

    3. She also said she will always love and be with Mahathir for the former prime minister's past contributions to the country, stating: "He should be appreciated and he is a good example,"

Michelle did the same supporting BN, an acceptable preference considering her dad is a MCA member who had supported Mahathir when he was PM

Why the differential treatment? Why no attack on Siti for supporting BN-UMNO? Has it been because Siti uttered "Allah please protect us" that she's not considered a hypocrite unlike Michelle. And if Michelle was hypocritical, where was it that showed her hypocrisy?

    4. Kt, pls tell CT that bapak penswastaan is the source of all the pains. he's still trailing by 1-2, whether the game is within the regulation time or masa kecederaan, i don't know, and let him do it alone, after all bn will still be in control. if ahjibgor is replaced then banyak susah for pr wor!.

    5. you know, the sad part is pakatan is willing to cooperate with Dr M to bring down Najib, when their greatest political foe all these while has been Dr M who had ruled the country for 22 years, during which time we have seen the mutilation of the judiciary, the politicization of the civil service including the police, the lowering of education standards, while economically-financially we have to read Barry Wain's book to realize the extent of his rule on these two aspects

pakatan has this weird belief Dr M will help them become government via Azmin Ali who was raised by Dr M's family - what wishful thinking

    6. apa pasal pakatan mahu masuk campur, nothing will be achieved whatever is the outcome. they like to says that 'your enemy's enemy is your friend' but the fact is your enemy's enemy is also your enemy. (dr.m admitted that he would remain in umno (baru), so, who's a better politician? it looks like his enemy has become his friend). what, dr.m favors azmin? dia orang boleh mimpi.

  8. Siti the next PM..??? That ll be a nice refreshing change as she sings her way into politics..Celebrity turned for thought ..Arnold did it,,Clint Eastwood ..Sonny minus Cher..from India there was MGR..And of course the most famous of them all Ronny Reagan..So not that far fetched if from nowhere sweetie Siti decides to capitalize on her sweethearted popularity and grabs a ticket for a MP wannabe..!

    1. Oh, definitely much better that marina mahathir

    2. why better? or were you just talking cock, as usual? wakakaka

    3. Because you endorse Marina Mahathir. To me, since you are a pontificating pretentious bastard, hence anything endorsed by you are rotten. Hahahahaha!

    4. aha, the (in)famous looes (lack of) logic, otherwise known as 'talk cock' wakakaka

  9. Why the difference in reaction to Michelle Yeoh vs. reaction to Siti Nurhaliza ?
I think it is because the demographics of the commentators are totally different.

Michelle Yeoh made her "Vote for BN" call at an MCA (Make Chinese Angry) function, calling for people to give Najib their mandate. People took it as outright political canvassing by Michelle Yeoh.
Judging from the Facebook posts at the time, most of the anger came from Chinese Malaysians.

Siti Nurhaliza made here Tweeter and Instagram post in Bahasa, and most of those who follow her posts appear to be Malays. Totally different group. Many could well be UMNO supporters.
Given the context - her Twitter criticism of the Tabung Haji deal, her subsequent "love Mahathir" Instagram did not rouse the same sort of anger as outright political canvassing.

Mahathir holds no government executive post and and does not stand for any elected office.

Different context, different reaction. That's human nature.

Want to condemn human nature ? Go ahead, I suppose, but it won't get you anywhere.

    1. Mahathir has a 22-year old track record criticized by many so for Siti to praise/love him would be akin to waving a red flag in their faces of Pakatan followers. The REAL REASON why she hasn't been attacked. like Michelle was, is that Pakatan people now see Dr M as on their side against Najib - that's the REAL reason, but whether it's wishful thinking or not (spt badak rindu bulan atau Baal, wakakaka), as you said, that's human nature

    2. Wakakaka ............死鸡撑饭盖

    3. Few simple questions to that chao cibai kaytee

      1) Does Michelle complain about this?
      2) If she does, she can seek legal action. Hahahaha

      Meanwhile in England........

If michelle is so fucking popular in MCA, perhaps Liow can yelp her

    4. By the way, I would dedicate this song to Michelle Yeoh........Hahahahaha......

      Michelle Yeoh,
Being an Ipohite myself, my advice is better for you to be hated by your association to MCA. Better than going to Garden Party and not being recognised. Okay la, the whole lyrics to you. Hahahahaha!

"I went to a garden party to reminisce with my old friends
A chance to share old memories and play our songs again
When I got to the garden party, they all knew my name
No one recognized me, I didn't look the same

But it's all right now, I learned my lesson well.
You see, ya can't please everyone, so ya got to please yourself

People came from miles around, everyone was there
Yoko brought her walrus, there was magic in the air
'n' over in the corner, much to my surprise
Mr. Hughes hid in Dylan's shoes wearing his disguise

      lott-in-dah-dah-dah, lot-in-dah-dah-dah

Played them all the old songs, thought that's why they came
No one heard the music, we didn't look the same
I said hello to "Mary Lou", she belongs to me
When I sang a song about a honky-tonk, it was time to leave

      lot-dah-dah-dah (lot-dah-dah-dah)

Someone opened up a closet door and out stepped Johnny B. Goode
Playing guitar like a-ringin' a bell and lookin' like he should
If you gotta play at garden parties, I wish you a lotta luck
But if memories were all I sang, I rather drive a truck

      lot-dah-dah-dah (lot-dah-dah-dah)

'n' it's all right now, learned my lesson well
You see, ya can't please everyone, so you got to please yourself"

    5. she is too elegant and dignified to bother with the yelping hyenas. kaytee does it on her behalf BUT with a higher aim of educating morons like looes to behave civilly and decently, wakakaka

    6. but thanks anyway for the Rowling twitter - cyber bullies and hoodlums must be put in their place and that includes you, looes wakakaka

    7. Hahahahahahaha! Finally the cat is out of the fucking cibai bag

What more I can say man? Especially when GST is a regressive tax. Meaning : the Poor would pay more than........hehehehehe!

      Meanwhile in Australia........Hahahahaha!

Perhaps, I should write letter to Hockey to tax kaytee at 50% GST since kaytee says GST is good. Hahahahaha!

      Najib is a........! Period!

      Meanwhile more bullshits from Najib

      Cibai.......there is your fucking proof

    8. of course gst is a more efficient taxation system for the govt or teh world wouldn't have gone over to gst - I have never said it isn't. But some goods will be become cheaper.

the consumption taxes on goods and services (services like car servicing, looes' haircut & massage at the girlie salon, plumbing at his house to unblock his WC etc) so if one consumes more one pays more taxes. one consumes moderately one pays less. It's a fair system

  10. Cibai Kaytee,
Do you really sleep well tonight after reading this news.

    1. doctors need to look into his state of mind - it's a bit hard for me to believe the gst has been the cause

as to whether I could sleep, no, not after I read your cibai name which is a cibai nightmare for me, wakakaka
