Trump urges UK and other nations to send ships to help secure Strait of Hormuz after Iranian attacks

Donald Trump calls on the UK and other nations to join the US in sending ships to help secure the Strait of Hormuz - here's why the oil shipping lane matters

In a post on Truth Social, the US president says despite "Iran's attempted closure" of the passage, "one way or the other, we will soon get the Hormuz Strait OPEN, SAFE, and FREE!"

The UK Maritime Trade Operations says 16 ships operating in and around the Arabian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz and Gulf of Oman have been attacked since the war started

On Thursday, Iran's new supreme leader Mojtaba Khamenei vowed to keep blocking the strait in his first public statement

Meanwhile, strikes are continuing across the Middle East, with sirens sounding in Jerusalem after the Israeli military said it had detected new attacks from Iran

An Iranian government spokesperson says more than 200 students and teachers have been killed in the last two weeks, and 120 schools have been "severely damaged"

This has been after the Clown chewed Keir Starmer up for not joining up immediately in the US-Shailok strikes on Iran, saying he didn't need the RN aircraft carrier anymore - Clown is nothing more than a shameless hussy, now panicking because of Iran's "closure" of the Hormuz Straits, and frantically calling on his already-disgusted "allies" to help.

  1. Eastern Bully must send the Fuxian and the two older practice carriers to secure Straits of Hormuz. Most of the oil that is blocked is for them.

Together with their super hyped destroyers and fighter jets.

    Prove their capability.

This may help rebuff the embarrassment that all their earlier military equipment supplied to IRGC had failed totally.

    Forget Taiwan.

  2. Plenty of military targets to destroy on Kharg first, before takeover of O&G infrastructure.

Kharg Island is heavily militarized and protected by Iran, often referred to as the "forbidden island". It serves as Iran's primary oil export hub, with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) restricting access and maintaining high security to protect this critical infrastructure.
    Al Jazeera

    Key Defense and Strategic Aspects:
High-Level Protection: Due to its immense economic importance, the island is heavily guarded and fortified.

Strategic Location: It is located in the Gulf and serves as the primary terminal for a majority of Iranian crude exports, making it a critical vulnerability.

Military Significance: It is considered a major target in conflicts, with extensive, complex infrastructure designed to withstand military action.

Strict Access Control: Access to the island is tightly controlled by the IRGC, heavily restricting civilians.

During the Iran-Iraq war, the island was heavily damaged but has since been rebuilt and remains crucial to Iran's economy.

  3. The 80-year old END GAME for Regime Change in Tel Aviv must now end. It is simply a lost cause.

Instead the 10-day old special operation Epic Fury must continue. It’s End Game is up to a certain cardboard cut-out.

Hamas urges key ally Iran to halt attacks on Gulf states
    7 hours ago
    Jaroslav Lukiv

The Palestinian armed group Hamas has called on Iran to stop attacking Gulf states, in a rare appeal to its key ally.

The Tehran-backed group urged its "brothers in Iran to avoid targeting neighbouring countries", saying in a statement that all regional nations should co-operate "to preserve the bonds of brotherhood".

At the same time, Hamas, which runs Gaza, affirmed Tehran's right to defend itself against attacks by the US and Israel, which are continuing to strike Iran.

The Iranian authorities have said their own retaliatory strikes target "American installations" on Gulf soil rather than the neighbours themselves - but many attacks have hit civilian infrastructure.

Iranian Women’s Soccer Players Withdraw Asylum Request !

Would anyone flee a dictatorship… then suddenly go back? I know their hostage diplomacy playbook very well.

The Iranian media now announced that Mona Hamoudi, Zahra Sarbali, and Zahra Meshkinkar, two players and a staff member of Iran’s women’s national football team, have withdrawn their asylum request in Australia and are heading back to Iran.

Right. Because women usually flee a dictatorship, they remove their for ed hijab and then suddenly decide to go back.

Let’s be clear,, it’s likely means their families are under threat, maybe detained. That is how the Islamic Republic operates.

Many of us Iranians know this playbook well. They used it on me. They imprisoned my brother Ali, for two years to try to silence me, believing that by holding my family hostage they could break my voice.

What stopped them was not their conscience. What helped was international attention and public pressure.

  6. 🚨 IRGC SHADOW NETWORK IN CANADA

Explosive claims in Canada’s parliament: hundreds of IRGC agents are allegedly operating on Canadian soil, using the country as a base to organize, fundraise, and intimidate diaspora communities.

MP Melissa Lantsman warned that critics of the Iranian regime are now living in fear, with reports of gunfire targeting activist businesses, threats within Iranian communities, and rising attacks on Jewish institutions.

According to the allegations, these operatives are living with near total impunity, raising urgent questions about immigration controls, national security, and whether Western democracies have become safe havens for hostile foreign networks.

The pressure is now mounting on Ottawa to present a plan to identify and remove individuals linked to the IRGC.

  7. BREAKING: The Shia cleric who was filmed at Pearson International Airport in Toronto, arriving from Iran together with his family, has been identified as Hojjatoleslam Morteza Tayyebi. He has recently obtained Canadian citizenship. Unfortunately, the government of Canada is sheltering these notorious Shia clerics of the Islamic regime, including those who have been directly involved in the killing of Iranian people.

  9. 🚨 BREAKING: French plan to end Lebanon war includes recognition of Israel

According to Axios, a French diplomatic proposal to end the war in Lebanon includes a requirement that Lebanon formally recognize the State of Israel.

    The plan reportedly aims to:
    • End hostilities along the northern border
    • Establish long-term security arrangements
    • Normalize relations between the two countries

But any agreement only works if Hezbollah is outlawed, disarmed, and removed from southern Lebanon.

    Without that, it’s just paper.

    Developing.
