Israel continues its renewed bombardment of Gaza, hitting areas across the enclave after the collapse of week-long truce.
Negotiations to secure another pause in the fighting continue, mediator Qatar says.
Netanyahu ‘again made a mockery of Biden administration’: CAIR
The Council on American-Islamic Relations noted that Israel’s deadly bombardment of Gaza came just hours after US Secretary of State Antony Blinken urged Israel to put plans in place to minimise civilian casualties.
“The Biden administration has taken belated but positive steps in the right direction over the past few weeks, but it now risks destroying that progress by once again giving Benjamin Netanyahu’s racist, far-right government political cover to bomb civilians in Gaza,” the group said.
“These war crimes were completely predictable, and the Biden administration must stop enabling them.”
