KUALA LUMPUR, July 7 — Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman has invited former Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin to join Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia, urging the latter to abandon the far-right views growing within the Umno-PAS partnership.

The head of Bersatu’s Youth wing made the open invitation to Khairy on Twitter yesterday in response to a news report of the Umno leader expressing support for PPBM chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s suggestion that Malay politicians unite under his party.

“As Umno-PAS steer further to the right, it’s timely for Bersatu to position itself as the centrist party for the Malays,” he wrote on Twitter.

“I would like to invite Khairy to join Bersatu. Join the likes of Tun, [Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir and Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed]. Together, we can move Malaysia forward.”

Young Brat doesn't know that of the three people Atuk hates most, one of them is KJ, wakakaka [the other two being Anwar Ibrahim and Najib].

Anyone who eff-ed his son(s) either politically or business-wise, he hates with a vengeance.

Anwar has a special extra part (wakakaka, for Mahathir to hate him) in that, apart from eff-ing Mirzan Mahathir and only allowing Petronas to 'bail out' Mirzan's Konsortium Perkapalan in 1997 with RM1.7 Billion instead of the RM2.2 Billion Mirzan had asked, Anwar also plotted to oust Mahathir in 1998.

Yes, according to financetwitter blog, It was an open secret that Mahathir had his hand in getting Petronas to bailout his son Mirzan Mahathir’s shipping company, then Konsortium Perkapalan, which had trouble servicing multi-million dollar debts estimated at about RM1.7 billion after the Asian financial crisis. Mahathir of course denied that Petronas’ acquisition of Konsortium Perkapalan was a bailout and stated clearly that he had no influence over the deal.

But from Lim Kit Siang's blog wakakaka (extracts as follows):

When he was Prime Minister, Mahathir had not bat an eyelid to misuse Petronas billions to bail out dubious projects, the most infamous being the RM2 billion bailout of his son Mirzan Mahathir’s then main public listed company, shipping concern Konsortium Perkapalan Bhd (KPB) in 1998 when KPB was floundering in billion-ringgit debts with its share price falling to RM3.78 by February 1998, a fraction of its pre-financial crisis level of RM17 plus.

Other occasions when Petronas was used as a national piggy bank to bail out financial scandals were:

  • RM2.5 billion bail-out of Bank Bumiputra in 1986 as a result of the first financial scandal of the Mahathir premiership, the RM2.5 billion Bumiputra Malaysia Finance (BMF) scandal (now completely overshadowed by the RM12.5 billion Port Klang Free Zone scandal featuring the top MCA leadership);
  • Another RM1 billion bail-out of Bank Bumiputra in 1989 by Petronas;
  • Bail out of sick national projects, including MAS and Proton;
  • Fund extravagant billion-ringgit mega-projects like the Petronas Twin-Towers and Putrajaya;
  • Misuse of funds to secure the title sponsorship rights for the Malaysian Formula 1 Grand Prix and to sponsor the Sauber Petronas racing team.

Wow, I wonder who loves (or loved) Malaysian Formula 1 Grand Prix? Wakakaka.

The above were in Lim KS' own words on his blog.

Najib's sin OTOH was not helping Mukhriz become an UMNO Vice President, a mandatory prerequisite to becoming UMNO President and thus PM of Malaysia.

Furthermore he ignored Mahathir until the Old Man beh-tahan anymore and criticised Najib for 'not reporting to him for more than 6 months' - wow, the PM must report to him, such an Imperator, wakakaka.

KJ's sins could be said were by comparison the least offensive or hurting in that he (while f-i-l was PM) gasak some juicy contracts off Mukhriz - tsk tsk tsk - fatal lah. If he is foolish enough to join Pribumi, he'll be panggang kaukau, wakakaka.

  1. Objectively, KJ is one of the "less unacceptable" UMNO leaders, but personality clashes and feuddls are another matter.

  2. Aiya since GE14 I already suspected Toonsie wanted to bring KJ to the "other side of the force", the parliament aisle is only 10 feet wide. Nudge nudge wink wink, ada banyak kerusi kosong sebelah sini...mari duduk tepi saya...lebih seronok...

    KJ is the only real threat from UMNO to Toonsie's Bersatu. Now and after Toonsie is gone. The others in UMNO are rubbish. So it is in Toonsie's interest to neutralize this threat before he steps down. What better way to neutralize than to subjugate him as a member of Bersatu. Keep your enemies close within bla bla bla.

    Remember that was how he controlled Anwar who was a firebrand popular ABIM leader. Toonsie brought him into UMNO.

    If you ever watch National Geographic the mother lion trains her cubs to hunt and kill by first maiming a prey such as a deer. Cripple it first, then her cubs will have physical advantage to play play with the food before consuming it.

    Toonsie needs to "cripple" (figuratively speaking) KJ first, so that Mukhriz can thrive, otherwise Mukhriz will forever be overshadowed by a younger and smarter politician.

    The other reason for having KJ crossover is that UMNO's future is KJ. Without KJ UMNO will die faster and will be properly buried, with Zahid facing 87 charges in court, Najib 42 and Ku Li as useless as ever.

    Well, that's Toonsie's plan, and we know his plan usually doesn't work...see what happened to Anwar...

  3. I hope KJ crosses over to Pribumi. Good riddance of bad rubbish! Bye-bye KJ! I will never vote for him. I would vote for UMNO-PAS-MCA-MIC anytime.
