Winning formula: Menjunjung tinggi agama, raja dan bangsa

Aneh (Commander Thayaparn) has written The M’sian opposition vote may never be the Trump vote in Malaysiakini.

untuk bangsa orang putih, negara USA dan agama Judeo-Christian

He analysed Trump's triumphalism in comparison with our Malaysian politics, and warned on comparing the two as similar, in whichever way we might wish, for example, that Trump's campaigning towards his victory is what Pakatan should emulate, or that Trump's methods seeing to his ascendancy is identical to UMNO's racist campaigning.

While there might be some elements of truth in both, that Trump had somehow appealed to voters in his bizarre ways and that he has been a racist of unmitigated proportions, he had actually destroyed both Republicans and Democrats in his bulldozing path towards the White House.

And in destroying both sides of politics, that is something which only Mahathir has qualified in doing, whacking Pakatan and destroying UMNO, for example, when he attacked AAB so that the Grand Olde Party lost its 2/3 majority, and now Najib.

But wouldn't that mean he has also been unkind to Pakatan?

The facts, yes, facts, that (a) he has now (pretend to) 'embrace' Anwar Ibrahim by shaking hands with his Nemesis and that (b) his wife, Toh Puan, went to see Dr Wan Azizah (and not the other way around) would be indications of his most desperate needs that compelled him to swallow his pride, and that (c) his refusal to agree to Pakatan naming Anwar Ibrahim as PM-anointed shows his 'embracement' of Anwar has been only hypocritical and totally insincere.

His actions have been totally contradicting, wakakaka.

Whether he appeals to voters today as Trump had, remains to be seen. Once I was an admirer of Mahathir though I have never agreed to his style of manoeuvring UMNO into being anti-Chinese, but I have lost all my respect for him as an elder Malaysian statesman on seeing his bizarre and selfish imperatives to continue ruling Malaysia by holding on to PMs as puppets.

While I have admitted to my mistake in believing Hilary Clinton was a sure winner against an unfit abusive and sexual predator as Trump, I had not allow for the infantile (wakakaka) tactical thinking of most Americans.

Even as I was convinced Hilary Clinton would be a sure shoo-in to the presidential post I had a teeny weeny niggling doubt in the very back of my subconscious, saying softly to myself that: Hey man, this is America where those voters had once voted in a B-grade movie star like Ronald Reagan, the so-called Great Communicator, and who had swallowed wholesale Reagan's bullshit fantasy like "Send Rambo to Beirut", an unbelievable Americanized syiok-sendiri fairy tale by the American President.

Yes, President Reagan had the brazen nerve to once suggest sending the fictional movie hero Rambo to Beirut, a make believe fantasy, during a difficult time for the US Marines in Beirut where hundreds of them were slaughtered in a Hezbollah truck bomb.

Helpless to do anything substantial, Reagan in a moment of either frustration or enlightenment or probably reversion to his B-grade movie role, declared, "Let's send Rambo to Beirut".

Believe it or not, the Yanks were delighted by Reagan's nonsensical proposal of a fictional move. Those dumbos applauded Reagan's brazen bizarre bullshit, and even took to wearing T-shirts with this popular slogan.

What could the Hezbollah do but laugh themselves to death at the American's world of make believe nonsense.

When life had gotten tough, Yanks showed a propensity to dive into and dwell within a fantasy world, perhaps to escape reality.

So in voting for a bigot like Trump, Yanks showed they loved the flamboyant, charismatic and bizarre, and coupled with their wild west frontier culture of doing things the independent, maverick and pioneer settlers' style of living life, might possibly have seen something favourable in a Trump presidency, though what, one might ask?

Back to my pre-US presidential election thoughts: Nah, they couldn't be that stupid and short sighted, no way Jose man, I had thought. But alas, I was proven wrong in my primary thinking and sadly, spot on right in my subconscious fears.

However, I do not completely agree with Aneh who warned the local press that, the press has a role to play and as the Trump victory shows, it is more important that media we consider mainstream report, analyse and spread ideas that accurately reflect what is going on in the country and not project a self-sustaining fantasy that satisfies the consumers.

In my opinion, and I reiterated what I have just written above, that when life had gotten tough, Yanks showed a propensity to dive into and dwell within a fantasy world, perhaps to escape reality which they saw in Trump's flamboyant, charismatic and bizarrely crazy xenophobic policies.

We must remember that Yanks carry the DNA of their wild west frontier culture of doing things the independent, maverick and pioneer settlers' style of living life. This is different from the greater mass of Malaysians, the Heartland of pious Malays living simple lives in kampongs, who uphold agama, raja dan bangsa.

This, my readers, is the secret of winning over the Malay mass, that the leader of the wanna-win coalition must be a Malay, who highly respects the monarchy and upholds Islam, though in the last, not necessarily of the brand brandished by PAS.

I wonder whether the Malay monarchy would ever support Mahathir? I can think of one who won't - Daulat Tuanku. Wakakaka.

UMNO is quite clear the party supports Najib, but I would imagine the Pakatan leader and the coalition's anointed PM-to-be should/would be someone like Dr Wan Azizah or even better (because of the misogynist Heartland), Saifuddin Abdullah or Khalid Samad or Dzukefly Ahmad who fulfils all three requirements of menjunjung tinggi agama, raja dan bangsa.

    Wow!!!!

    Say that once again.

Then take a second look at the winning map of that flamboyant, charismatic and bizarrely crazy xenophobic Trump.

Majority of those reds r the rust belt territories that uphold agama, raja dan bangsa. Raja here being the wild west frontier dream of being a champion of the world that u r so well described.

Any differences between these two heartlanders??

So, any more of it back of the mind premonition?????
