World Leaders Recognize Palestinian State, in a Challenge to U.S. and Israel

World Leaders Recognize Palestinian State, in a Challenge to U.S. and Israel

Leaders from across the globe convened in New York on Monday to support Palestinian statehood, over opposition from Israel and the United States, as the Gaza Strip neared the two-year mark of a war that has brought mass death, destruction and hunger.

A summit meeting organized by France and Saudi Arabia ahead of the annual United Nations General Assembly in New York was portrayed as an urgent effort to salvage the long-deferred vision of a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. But as Israel continues its offensive in Gaza City against Hamas, and rapidly expands its settlements in the West Bank, the notion seems more distant than ever.

“We must pave the way for peace,” President Emmanuel Macron of France said, to applause from those at the meeting and a standing ovation from the Palestinian delegation. “Today, France recognizes the state of Palestine.” He noted recent statements of recognition, some not yet formalized, by Britain, Canada, Australia, Portugal, Belgium and several others.

The Israeli ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, told reporters, “We will take action” in response to the announcements. He declined to say if that would mean, as some Israeli officials have suggested, expanded settlements or outright annexations in the territory that has been envisioned as a Palestinian state. Israel’s response, he said, would be announced by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who will address the United Nations gathering and meet this week with President Trump. – The New York Times

Our Take: So what happens when the entire world recognizes the state of Palestine other than the one country trying to erase it from existence?

Another Take: Mahmoud Abbas, leader of the Palestinian Authority, said the authority would form the government of the West Bank and Gaza, with no role for Hamas. The United States denied a visa for Mr. Abbas to attend the events in New York, so he addressed the meeting on Monday by video. Addressing the people of Israel, he said: “Our future and yours depends on peace. Enough war.”

Amen.

Bit by bit, country by country, the world is moving away from Israel's desire for never-ending conquest and adopting a benevolent supporting posture for Palestine.

The world must be very careful in this moment, and move with purpose. Under Israeli law, it is both legal and ethical to do anything and everything to protect Israeli national security — including assassination and mass casualty events. Israel is now a cornered animal, and when animals are cornered that is when they are most dangerous.

No surprise that the animosity is spilling over to the internet, where Israeli surrogates are becoming increasingly unhinged and venomous in their rhetoric. Now is the time that we must be calm, courageous, and true to God.

  1. The UN has morphed into anti-JewN.

The so-called UN agency to resettle "Palestinian Refugees" in 1948, UNRWA, had a 3-year renewal license. Many renewals later, they are into the 80th year and they have yet to resettle a single "refugee".

In contrast, UNHCR has resettled more than a hundred million, including Europeans after WW2, Africa, Asia, Africa and Americas.

Instead of resettling refugees UNRWA perpetuates them. From the original few hundred thousand in 1948 today there are more than 6 million. The anak cucu cicik all qualify as refugees, a definition which only "Palestinians" enjoy but no other refugee does. They all enjoy the "Right of Return" to Haifa or Jerusalem, even if they are now citizens of another country.

This is like Nguyen Kim Phuong, a grandchild of a Vietnamese refugee who left in 1975, has a right to claim her grandfather's house in Hanoi. But 50 years later the house is now the Cuban Embassy.

Can I claim my grandfather's rice farm in Fuxian, he left 100 years ago when BullyMao expropriated his land. Today the farm is a Shopping Mall. No, I have MOVED ON and enjoy my BKT in Klang every weekend.

Can Vinod Patel, whose grandfather was forced to leave Karachi for Delhi in 1949 (partition) because he was persecuted by Ishmaels today move back and reclaim the family carpet business? Today he is happily a Yindian citizen with grandchildren of his own. He has MOVED ON.

To escape the war, Park Kim-Chee left Pyongyang in 1950 and migrated south to Ulsan. Today his grandson works as an engineer for Samsung
and designs beautiful Galaxy Smartphones. His granddaughter aspires to be a K-Pop performer. They have MOVED ON and have no delusions about reclaiming their grandfathers cabbage farm in North Korea which is now Rocket Man's missile launch site.

Millions of Isaacs were kicked out of Arab, African, European countries (genocided lah) and migrated to Isaac. They enjoy no "Right of Return" to Morocco, Yemen, Egypt, Iraq, Soviet Union, Poland Germany etc. All their homes, businesses etc were lost. But they have MOVED ON and now happily live in Isaac with no Delusions of Return.

But Palestinian "Refugees" are given spesial treatment by anti-JewN.

Isaac must layan and accommodate Mohamad Abbas, a cucu of an Arab from Haifa who was told to leave by Arab leaders in 1948 and return "after we exterminate" the newly born Isaac state. But 80 years later his grandfather's cobbler shop is a polis station, so how to give back?

UNRWA continues to perpetuate this fantasy and indoctrinate "Palestinian" children to kill Isaacs like suicide bombers and Reclaim something their grandfathers lost many years ago.

    1. wow… still playing yr f*cked right of return!

Mfer, refugees can't be resettled if they chose to want to retain their original identity!

Those, whom u called 'have moved' on r those who have given up their original nationality in favor of a new one.

No difference from those zionists reject from old Europe, grabbing onto the zionist state, just bcoz they have moved on!

Yet, those zionists r forcefully trespassing into others' land to claim their meeting nationhood.

Mfer, u have zilch entilement to any of yr grandfather's rice farm in Fuxian, when he left 100 years ago when NEW China expropriated all the land & retributed them proportionally to ALL Chinese.

U left, meaning u gave up yr right to redistribution.

Ain't that in confirmation to yr right of return? Or u have a mfering definition?

Mfer, keep chanting yr form of right of return. Don't wakeup. It's not pretty!

  2. UN Watch just released this report and gives examples of how UNRWA has been infiltrated by Harm-ass. Union Leaders of Teachers in "Palestine" are Harm-ass Leaders, and they don't even hide this fact. They boast about it in their Social Media. These teachers indoctrinate the next generation of terrorists, suicide bombers etc.

Part I of the report documents how senior Hamas operative Suhail Al-Hindi captured UNRWA’s education system in Gaza. From 2006 to 2017, Al-Hindi was simultaneously a Hamas leader, an UNRWA school principal, and head of the UNRWA Gaza Staff Union, overseeing 8,000 teachers and 220,000 students. Although UNRWA was well aware of Al-Hindi’s Hamas connections, it chose to ignore them.

Since his resignation from UNRWA in 2017, Al-Hindi has emerged as a key member of Hamas’s leadership while retaining his influence over UNRWA in Gaza. Most recently, Al-Hindi was seen alongside senior Hamas leaders meeting the group’s Iranian backers in Qatar.

Part II examines UNRWA employment of Hamas figures in Lebanon, focusing on Fateh Sharif — an UNRWA school principal and head of the UNRWA Lebanon Teachers’ Union, responsible for 39,000 students and 2,000 teachers in 64 schools. When Sharif was killed in an Israeli strike on September 30, 2024, Hamas hailed him as its leader in Lebanon.

For over a decade, Sharif posted openly about his Hamas links, publishing photos with terrorist leaders. Yet when asked why a Hamas commander was employed for decades by UNRWA, UN spokesman Stéphane Dujarric replied: “Most people who are engaged in underground organizations try not to have their involvement known publicly.”

This comprehensive new report shows the opposite: Hamas leaders flaunted their affiliations — and UNRWA did nothing.

  3. Following recognition, Mahmoud Abbas seeks $2 Trillion Reparations from UK for its 1917 to 1948 rule. I think it should be UN too, because they gave the mandate and screwed up big time. Useless anti-JewN.

  4. Another thread on X. Isaac should demand reparations too, because UK already gave away Mandate land twice, first 78% to form Jordan then a second time via UN in 1948 on the remaining 22%, now Starmer/UN want to do it a third time on West Bank? Apa Lagi Mau?
