Health Ministry to Malaysians: Vaccines don’t cause autism, paracetamol during pregnancy is safe

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 25 — The Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) has dismissed claims linking paracetamol use during pregnancy and childhood vaccines to autism, while also warning against unproven treatments such as folinic acid.
In a statement, the ministry stressed that current scientific evidence does not support these claims.
“Vaccines do not cause autism.
“Strong evidence from high-quality studies in multiple countries has repeatedly shown no link between vaccines and autism,” said Health director-general Datuk Dr Mahathar Abd Wahab today.
The statement also addressed concerns over paracetamol, widely used to relieve pain and fever, including among pregnant women.
“Based on current medical practice and the latest clinical guidelines, paracetamol is still considered among the safest options when taken at the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible duration,” Dr Mahathar added.
MOH also cautioned against claims that folinic acid, also known as leucovorin, can treat autism.
“Scientific evidence is still limited to small studies in certain groups.
“Large-scale clinical trials are still required before this medication can be considered a safe and effective treatment for autism,” Dr Mahathar said.
The ministry urged the public not to be swayed by statements unsupported by robust scientific evidence.
“Pregnant women experiencing fever or pain may still use paracetamol when necessary, following advice from a doctor or pharmacist,” Dr Mahathar added.
MOH reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring the safety and efficacy of all medications in Malaysia, and maintaining a rigorous vaccine safety monitoring system in line with current scientific evidence.

People like Fuck like to repeat the much misused saying "No One is Indispensable".
While the statement is true , it ignores the fact that in All organisations there are people who , if they suddenly disappeared, whether fired or got seriously ill or quit, will cause significant or major disruption to the organisation function.
And these people exist at all levels in the organisation. E.g. In any factory, there is a portion of the work that is just not possible to automate or reduce to a set of instructions. Specialised experience , knowledge and skill are critical for such jobs.
Totally not surprised if the Fuck Administration is having to beg some of the fired people to come back.

I have been asked by many people about the life and times of Amelia Earhart, such an interesting story, and would I consider declassifying and releasing everything about her, in particular, her last, fatal flight! She was an Aviation Pioneer, the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean, and achieved many other Aviation “firsts.” She disappeared in the South Pacific while trying to become the first woman to fly around the World. Amelia made it almost three quarters around the World before she suddenly, and without notice, vanished, never to be seen again. Her disappearance, almost 90 years ago, has captivated millions. I am ordering my Administration to declassify and release all Government Records related to Amelia Earhart, her final trip, and everything else about her. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
