ReplyDeleteThe terrorist attack on the bus Yildi Avivim, 1970.
The attack on the bus of Yeldi Avivim was a shooting attack that took place on May 22, 1970 near Kibbutz in Raam, on the border between Lebanon and Lebanon, in which 12 Israelis were murdered - most of them children.
A squad of terrorists shot a student bus on a Friday morning on its way from Moshav Avivim to the regional school in Dovav.
The bus had about 30 children from grades 1 to 3, teachers and two other adults. 9 children (between the ages of six and nine), and 3 adults were killed in the attack, including a bus driver. 19 more children were injured in the shooting.
About 43 years later, one of the girls injured in the terrorist attack died from the complications of the injury - and the number of the murdered has risen to 13.
The murdered children were buried in a special part of the Tzfat cemetery. In the moshav a monument was erected in their memory.
May their memory forever be of a Blessing
