The British do not hate the Russians, but Russia under Putin has been aggressively pursuing hegemony over it's Near Abroad - and invading those who don't comply. Britain and the West would be foolish not to treat that as a serious threat to the security of Europe. And Jeffrey Sachs will continue to mock at Western policies day in day out.
