ISTANBUL, Oct 1 — Saudi Arabia’s National Transport Safety Centre (NTSC) said Wednesday that it has launched an investigation into the emergency landing of a Flydubai passenger plane at Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz International Airport in the northwestern city of Tabuk.

Anadolu Ajansi reported the centre said it received a report concerning Flydubai flight FZ1073, which made an emergency landing at the airport Wednesday.

An aviation safety investigation team has begun work and is coordinating with authorities to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident, verify aviation safety-related aspects and collect information and evidence, it said.

The flight was traveling from Dubai to Tel Aviv when it was diverted to Saudi Arabia.

Flydubai said an “altercation occurred in the flight deck” and crew members managed to secure the plane and divert it safely to Saudi Arabia.

The Dubai-based carrier said all passengers and crew were safe and accounted for, adding that the reasons and motives behind the altercation remain subject to a formal investigation.

Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz International Airport earlier its Air Traffic Control Centre received a distress call from flight FZ1073 at 8.44 am local time, requesting an emergency landing.

The airport said the captain and first officer were injured and transferred to a hospital for medical treatment.

The flight, carrying 174 passengers, reportedly transmitted the international emergency code “7700” and later “7500,” a code used to indicate unlawful interference with an aircraft, including a possible hijacking.

The airport later said all passengers departed at 5.40 pm local time aboard an alternative aircraft provided by the airline. — Bernama-Anadolu

  1. Legacy media are the terrorists.

    A pilot was stabbed.

    NYT: “altercation”
    CNN: “altercation”
    WSJ: “struggle”
    BBC: “fight”
    Sky News: “brawl”

    Enemies of humanity.
    You still underestimate the media.

  3. And Where Are The Words of Sapot From Around The World?

A flight carrying Israelis is plunged thousands of feet after an attack in the cockpit.

Passengers reportedly fight back. An off-duty pilot among them helps get the aircraft safely to the ground.

    A catastrophe was narrowly avoided.

    And the world?

    Crickets.

    Where are the urgent statements?
    Where is the outrage?
Where are the world leaders rushing to condemn an attack that could have killed everyone on board?

Apparently, when Israelis are nearly murdered, there is no emergency press conference.

    No hashtags.
    No speeches.
    No dramatic declarations.

But let Israel defend itself and suddenly everyone has something to say.

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ This time, the silence is deafening.

  4. Yew Kay is (Brain) Dead....and as Usual, Mossad Had To Tip Them Off..

Over the weekend, Britain had to admit that a former bodyguard of Ismail Haniyeh was living here with a British passport and a court order that was supposed to hide his name for a hundred years. He is the son of a Hamas politburo official. He came in as a refugee, became a citizen, worked the cover of a suburban IT consultant, and was arrested in London after German and Israeli services tied him to a weapons plot against Jewish targets in Europe.

That should have been the end of it. But it wasn’t.

In the same week, it’s now come out that the country is housing a Gazan who arrived on a small boat, served time for illegal entry, and is now in a taxpayer HMO in Northamptonshire. Before he got here he posed with rifles, threw explosives on camera, and called for Jews to be killed. He is already on TikTok in Corby pulling local kids into the same slogans and recruiting them for protests.

The local paper found him. The Home Office though still has him in the system.

One man used a British passport as a Hamas rear base. The other is sitting in an English house after a nine-month sentence for breaking in. Neither of those outcomes is an accident. They are what happens when asylum, citizenship, and “community cohesion” are treated as more important than national security.

Britain isn’t ignorant about who these people are. They’re well aware. But yet it has a policy that keeps putting them in the country, handing them a passport and a home, and then acting shocked when the next plot, the next chant, or the next boat produces the same profile.

This threat to the UK rests with
    @ShabanaMahmood
. She’s the Home Secretary. She is well aware of the threat these people pose. Yet they’re still here, as guests of honor for this government.

The only questions to ask are how, and why is this happening. Everything else is really irrelevant.
