Dr M should stay on as PM, says Azmin
KUALA LUMPUR: PKR deputy president Mohamed Azmin Ali today repeated his call for Dr Mahathir Mohamad to remain as prime minister throughout Pakatan Harapan’s five-year mandate, amid claims that he secretly met a former Umno leader to stop Anwar Ibrahim from taking over the top post.
“Give full support to Mahathir to continue leading, as this will be a guarantee to investors that the political landscape in Malaysia is stable and the economy is on the right track,” he told reporters at the Parliament today.
Azmin also dismissed a claim that he had secretly met former defence minister Hishammuddin Hussein to hatch a plan to stop Anwar from replacing Mahathir as part of a succession plan agreed by Pakatan Harapan.
“How is it possible to elect a government for only one or two years?” he asked.
“It is only a backdoor government if there are those who want to topple the administration within one or two years upon election.”
The economic affairs minister said all talk of power transition should stop in the interest of the country’s economy.
“There is already a lot of uncertainties out there. Both foreign and domestic investors are concerned that this situation will persist.”

Firstly, no one has talked about electing a government for only one or two years. We're talking about the PM, not the Pakatan government, handing over that post to Anwar Ibrahim. It's Azmin Ali who has tried to conflate and CONFUSE the promise to change the PM in May 2020 with that of changing the Pakatan government after two years. And we all know his relationship with Hishamuddin, and why thus far Hisham hasn't been charged nor investigated by MACC.

Secondly, It is Mahathir who has been the cause of uncertainty and economic eff-ups we are having. A clear example has been his latest BIGMOUTH babble about the Kashmiri issue, chiefly to show the domestic Muslims he is their jaguh. Additionally, he has also slighted the Mainland Chinese initially until he faces reality and back-down with no doubt deep resentment in his anti-Chinese heart.

Then, as before in his 1981 to 2003 rule, he shows his prejudice against Singapore again and delays joint projects. He tok-kok about Car No 3 and allows his incompetent ministers like Bapak Kasut Hitam (Maszlee Malik), Bapak KDK (Redzuan Yusof and one of the promoters of the PRIBUMI-UMNO-PAS Malay-Unity government to eff up Anwar Ibrahim) and Bapak Budak Kecil (Syed Saddiq) to embarrass Malaysians with useless schemes & useless talk with nothing to show for them.
And he once again as he did with Asian Rare Earth (A.R.E) in Bukit Merah, he overturns a manifesto pledge to allow Lynas ot continue operating.
How could we allow King Minus, a racist and useless nyanyiok leader, to remain as PM? He has been the VERY one who caused and causes instability in the Malaysian economy, holding a racist Malay Dignity Congress just for his own political benefit even when such racist get-together spells woe to Malaysian stability.
Again, Azmin Ali tok-kok because he knows his future survival depends on Uncle remaining as PM, even if Uncle effs up Malaysia. Thus mati pun, 'nak mempertahankan Uncle.
Thirdly, for a Deputy President of PKR, he has shown the most gross and disgusting disloyalty to his own party president Anwar Ibrahim. How can Anwar ever reconcile with such a treacherous traitor?
The PH Government should be gone as soon as possible.
ReplyDeleteHowever, Mahathir and Azmin are the lesser of evils compared to Anwar Ibrahim, who is beholden to the DAP.
So, if that is the only option, it is preferable for Mahathir to remain till the end of the current term....then the Malays will collectively kick out the PH government.
