The murder of Egyptian envoy to Iraq, Ihab al-Sherif has angered many Egyptians, more for the fact that many believe he was sent there by his government to please the Americans.
Now the Egyptian government is also pissed off, but with Iraqi officials who alleged that al-Sherif had attempted to meet with Iraqi insurgents. The Iraqi officials based their allegations on the observation that al-Sherif had left his house without any escort.
