Birmingham is OK now, 10 hours after the evacuation order was given, and 4 controlled explosions conducted by Police.
Those displaced without a place to bunk stayed overnight at Aston University.
This posting has been delayed because my noodles burned on the stove while I was attempting to type it up some 45 minutes ago - not very popular with the neighbours ;-)
