Explain wastage of Covid-19 vaccines, Umno leader tells Health DG

Umno supreme council member Puad Zarkashi has asked for answers on the wastage of the Covid-19 vaccine doses, as revealed by Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim yesterday.

"It was shocking when the PM announced yesterday that six million Covid-19 vaccine doses are left unused, and some have to be destroyed after expiry. Isn't this a waste?

"What are the losses involved? Who ordered (the vaccines), and who benefited from it?" Puad (above) asked in a statement on Facebook this morning.

At a press conference yesterday, Anwar advised the public to take their Covid-19 vaccine booster doses to protect themselves from the coronavirus.

He also revealed that Health Ministry records showed only 49 percent of the people had taken their booster doses so far, leaving the country with a surplus of six million vaccine doses.

Elaborating, Puad urged Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah to explain the matter.

"The people need to know why the (vaccine uptake) campaign failed, and who is responsible for it.

"The government must investigate this as the PM himself has revealed this," he added.

  1. To the majority, the zamzam water is more potent to protect them from the SARS-Cov-2 virus than any vaccines!

  2. To be fair, the government at the time ordered sufficient vaccines including booster shots + additional booster if needed, for the entire population, including foreigners.
A combination of vaccine hesitation, anti-vaxxers and sheer apathy meant that a very significant number did not bother with boosters, and some never got vaccinated at all
There are also a smaller number, for whom it's quite a large inconvenience to get to a vaccine center a total of 3 or 4 times.

  3. Those who do not have the lemming mentality are very much aware of the toxic effects of the vaccines on otherwise healthy children and adults as reported among the vaccinated in the developed countries. There appears to be a refusal of the authority to publish scientific information on the deleterious effects of the vaccines on some recipients of the vaccine mandate. Qui bono when importers are given as much as possible leeway to benefit from the commission earned?

    1. All medications have side effects.

During a pandemic, it's a choice. But a selective & guided choice based on science.

Not the mumbo jumbo that r based on selective & religious farts!
