PN confirms Mas Ermieyati as its Malacca CM candidate
MALACCA POLLS | Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairperson Muhyiddin Yassin today announced its Tanjung Bidara candidate Mas Ermieyati Samsudin as the coalition's chief ministerial candidate if they can win in the Malacca polls.
If Mas Ermieyati wins in Tanjung Bidara and PN can muster a majority, it would make her the first woman head of government in a state.
The timing of the announcement appeared geared to help give PN a boost. Polling day (Nov 20) is only two days away.
BN announced incumbent chief minister Sulaiman Md Ali as its candidate to lead the state government even before campaigning officially began on Nov 8 while Harapan confirmed Amanah's Adly Zahari as their chief ministerial candidate on Nov 10.

THE cabinet has received an application from Najib Razak to obtain a property worth RM100 million in Kuala Lumpur, Senator Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz said today.
