Horrendous Murder in Pahang

Straits Times (Sing) - Body of missing 11-year-old found in Malaysia, police deny parents' claim that organs missing (extracts):

Siti Masyitah?

NST (Malaysia) photo

The body of an 11-year-old girl was found on Saturday (Feb 9), more than a week after she went missing in Malaysia's Pahang state.

Malaysian media reports said the mutilated body of Siti Masyitah Ibrahim was found with her limbs tied up at an oil palm plantation in Tanjung Medang Hilir, Pekan.

She had been reported missing on Jan 30, Chinese-language newspaper Sin Chew Daily reported. [...]

While several local news sources have said the body was found with internal organs missing, police have dismissed the claim.

Pahang police chief Mohd Zakaria Ahmad told Malaysiakini that the body found by locals was intact, pending confirmation from the post-mortem.

He also dismissed claims that the body was found with hands and legs tied up, and added that police have yet to ascertain whether the remains belong to Siti Masyitah Ibrahim
.

If what local news reports have been true, that the victim Siti Masyitah was mutilated whilst being tied up, with her internal organs missing (presumably removed by the murderer), the alleged murder must be the most horrendous in Malaysian history.

The horrific act of evil is stupefying. But the alleged mutilations could hint at possible occult dabbling.

Pahang seems to be a location for such unbelievable acts of bizarre murder if we recall the decapitation of former Malaysian politician, Datuk Mazlan Idris, (then ADUN for Batu Talam, Pahang) by Nur Maznah Binti Ismail who was more notoriously known as Mona Fandey, a former pop singer, subsequently a bomoh and in the end a terrifying murderer.

Wikipedia informs us (extracts):

After leaving the music business, she became involved in black magic activities and was known to be a bomoh, a local shaman. She began offering her services to clients, mostly from the upper-class society. She also claimed to have provided politician clients in the ruling party with a variety of charms and talismans.

It was reported that Mazlan Idris, a state assemblyman for the constituency of Batu Talam in the state of Pahang, wanted to boost his political career and sought the services of Mona for assistance.

Mazlan was educated in the United States and was an ambitious politician from the ruling United Malay National Organisation (UMNO) party.

At that time, Mona worked with her husband Mohamad Nor Affandi Abdul Rahman, 44, and their assistant Juraimi Hassan, 31. Mona and her husband promised to help Mazlan by giving him a talisman consisting of a cane and sbatmi headgear which was supposedly owned by former Indonesian President Sukarno.

Mona convinced Mazlan that he would be "invincible" if he held the talisman. In return, Mona demanded RM 2.5 million. Mazlan paid the couple RM 500,000 as deposit, and gave them 10 land titles as surety for the remaining RM 2 million.

An appointment was made for cleansing rituals to be performed at Mona's house. Mazlan was told to lie on the floor face up while Mona placed flowers on him. She then told Mazlan to close his eyes and wait for the money to "fall from the sky".

Juraimi then, using an axe, chopped Mazlan's head off. They also dismembered and partially skinned Mazlan's body. His body was found in 18 parts buried in a storeroom near Mona's house in Kampung Peruas, Ulu Dong, Raub, Pahang.

Mona Fandey was what Chinese would described as a person with hair growing on her heart (Penang Hokken calls it 'sim snere mor') - also see my previous post Hair grow from/on his heart.

But the Mona Fandey case, unbelievably cruel as it was, had nothing to do with the occult but only sheer murderous greed. Occultism was exploited by the murderess for her opportunistic avarice, though in her final moments of her execution by hanging, Mona Fandey did boastfully
uttered the words 'aku takkan mati' (I will never die), and was reported as still calm and smiling.

But in the current case of the 11-year old victim, the alleged removal of her internal organs, still missing, is suspicious and does hint of occultism.

  1. Best for people not to jump to conclusions and let the competent authorities investigate.

No doubt this was a horrific murder, but the body had been left out in an oil palm plantation.

Many wild animals - dogs, wild boars, feral cats, will eat the flesh of the dead, being an easy source of food, resulting in mutilation of the body.

  2. We must catch this animal and provide the beast housing, food and clothing using taxpayers money for the rest of his unnatural life. He deserves no more, no less.

  3. We tend to think of city and urban areas being potentially unsafe , and children vulnerable to predators. We teach children to be wary of strangers. No doubt true.

However , this incident occurred in a rural area, and from other news that has surfaced, the suspect was not a stranger to the victim.
