Daim & Mahathir & Judges

MM Online - Dr M defends Council of Eminent Persons over summoning of judges (extracts):

It was reported that CEP chairman Tun Daim Zainuddin had come under fire for allegedly summoning Chief Justice Tan Sri Md Raus Sharif and Court of Appeal president Tan Sri Zulkefli Ahmad Makinudin to a meeting, where he demanded that they resign.

Dr Mahathir said: “They indicated to the two judges that it’s good if they were to resign, otherwise the government may have to take action to remove them because we believe that the extension of their office as senior judges was not right.

In Sri Gopal Ram's 'F-O' to Imperator II, Gopal Ram had said the following words directed at Daim's unconstitutional behaviour and words:

“It is unconstitutional and wrong for a person other than the prime minister to summon the Chief Justice or indeed any other judge for any reason whatsoever”.

“Daim is not the PM and even if he had been asked by the PM to do what he did, he should have declined and left it to the attorney-general, the PM and the Cabinet to handle this.”

Gopal Ram also lambasted the two judges for having gone to meet Daim - yeah, who the fCk is Daim to SUMMON a Chief justice?

But Mahathir does not see that arrogant constitutional impropriety of Daim SUMMONING judges and telling them to resign.

WTF man, he did it himself before in 1987 when he fCk-ed the Lord President and 5 other top judges kaukau.

Then he considered himself the Imperial Imperator, now he considers himself the much adored Superior Tokong, hero-worshipped as well as worshipped by Hell-Hounds. Who dares to criticise or condemn him?

So Gopal Ram's and the Bar Council's outrageous protests against the arrogant constitutional impropriety of Daim fell on deaf ears.

C'mon man, you are talking about a 93-year old dictator. Apart from being nearly deaf, in the Far East, old people like Maddy don't change for you - fCk off and don't be biadab - you change for them even if it involves amending constitutional procedures and etiquette. BTW, 'amending the constitution' leads to another nasty story about Maddy, wakakaka, but let's save that for another less troubling day.

  1. Nothing can be done unless kaytee can come back physically to lead the resistance. Else all talk cock sing song

  2. With the so-called Eminent Persons calling all the shots, then it stands to reason that cabinet members, although democratically elected, are nothing but Chief Clerks for the um-elected EPs.
    Does the Constitution allows this?

    1. Why not make the elders legit? Get them appointed like the cabinets or excos. It is a matter of 'creative accounting'/'creative appointment'.

    2. The Constitution is not the Government. Mahathir is.
So what Mahathir says ,goes. be damned with the Constitution. It has always been a barrier for him anyways.

  5. Two wrongs don't make a right.
It is highly improper for the Council of Elders to summon two Federal Court judges for, whatever... The judiciary does NOT report to the Executive.

At the same time, the two judges extension of service was unconstitutional and the reasons for that are only gossiped and whispered in the background.
These two judges were tainted with Najis.

Latest news is they have both done the right thing and resigned.
The only other way would have been a messy tribunal to remove them.

    2. No pay but we're going to help Finance Ministry, say Tony Pua and Ong Kian Ming. So DAP did the needful...it has appointed both of them as special officers to assist the new Finance Minister for the next 6 months without pay.

The previous Finance Minister had 25 ? Boggles the mind...I guess according to Jibby's calcualtion, it requires much more hands to hide stuff in Red Files and come up with creative accounting to present a fake picture to the world and its own citizens. And these 25 for sure are not volunteering their time and work....heard that Jibby's political appointees are paid between 70,000 to 200,000 per month, yikes !

  7. Why so holy talking about constitutional rights or wrongs and of the fears of Mahathirism in the works etc etc etc.

Where were all these noises during the time they were appointed against the Constitution laws? Why all muted and now with Freedom of Speech, suddenly found the voice to shout out this and that?

Wait lah, get rid of all these unconstitutional appointments whether it be by COE, by my grandfather or SBs or Zamihan the Lord Bigot then we follow the rules, mah.

Why, cannot wait first? After all these, if Daim or TDM still persist in Mahathirism way of doing things, then come out again, mah.

Can one. Let the dogs bark so long as Reformation is still in progress to clean up the whole shit system as fast as any method will do.

Wakakakakaka Eat your hearts out, bloody idealistic morons.

    2. Yes indeed, why only make noise now when the Council of Elders do things in the wrong way to interview the 2 'unlawful' judges and nudging them to resign. When these 2 tak-malu judges who themselves knew the law best allowed themselves to be unlawfully appointed and when the NGOs and the law fraternity voiced out, Ktemoc is nowhere to be seen.. errr rather.... to be heard, hehehe. ( he of course is nowhere to be seen as looes had been hammering him to show himself..not even a tiny bitty bit of picture, hahaha. By the by, is there any substance to the rumour he's an aneh passing off as cina ? wakakakaka...an amusing piece of gossip ).

  8. Does anyone know that M's son, around 30 or so years ago, had spoken that his father will be the first President of Malaysia?

With recent Royal developments as well as the Council of EP. M could very well be the President acting through the EPs and let Anwar be the PM thus fulfilling that PM promise.

This can only happen when the Royals are gotten rid off. The possible way that this can happen is through the declaration of emergency rule over a national crisis/disturbance, real or falsely created type like the Reichstag fire used to create Mazi Germany.
