KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 16 — The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning for thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds affecting several areas in Sarawak and Sabah until 11am today, as well as the whole of Penang until noon.
In a statement, MetMalaysia said the affected areas in Sarawak are Limbang, Miri (Miri and Subis), and Kuching (Lundu and Kuching).
In Sabah, the warning covers the West Coast areas of Penampang, Putatan, Papar, Tuaran, Ranau and Kota Kinabalu, as well as the Interior areas of Membakut, Beaufort, Kuala Penyu, Tambunan, Keningau and Tenom. — Bernama

Clear the haze?
Penang badly needs the rain.
ReplyDeleteEven more importantly, heavy rain needs to fall on the key dam areas in Eastern Kedah in the foothills of the Bintang Range, where the catchment area of the Muda River lies.
Herein lies the root of Fei Low's resentment against Penang., as he considers this is "his" Kedah water that further downstream is extracted by the damned DAPster Penang.
