So said the UK ambassador to the UK, neatly puncturing King Charles’ recent “special relationship” rapprochement with Trump.
The FT shared the leaked tape from Sir Christian Turner and we enhanced it so you can hear it clearly (see attached video).
This is the funny bit: the UK foreign office reacted by saying that the ambassador’s words do not give the UK’s view about the United States.
Are you kidding me? He is the UK ambassador to the United States. He is literally PAID to give the UK’s view about the United States.
That’s his actual job.
The real issue here, of course, is that he is telling the truth - And you can’t do that in anglophone countries if Israel is mentioned. Look at the arrests in the UK, in the US, in Australia. Fact.
