PETALING JAYA: Several students at SMK Bandar Utama Damansara (4) described the moments of terror they experienced as the suspect roamed the school grounds following the fatal stabbing of a schoolmate this morning.
A student who asked to remain anonymous said she was taking an exam in her classroom on the ground floor when she and her classmates noticed a schoolboy walking around with a knife in his hand and blood on his clothes.
“He just walked past our classroom holding a knife. There was blood on his shirt, and he said he had killed someone,” she said when met by FMT outside the school.
Another student who asked not to be named said the suspect had entered a random classroom, holding up the knife with blood stains on his clothes.
“The entire class froze in shock when he came in,” she said. “My friends and I are still traumatised by what happened.”
Other witnesses said the suspect was known to be a quiet boy, and allegedly brought multiple knives and a pair of gloves in his backpack.
The suspect is believed to have stabbed a Form 4 student to death at around 9.10am today.
The victim was stabbed multiple times by the 14-year-old perpetrator, according to the police.
Police said the stabbing took place at one of the female toilets, and that two sharp weapons were confiscated. The motive of the murder is still under investigation.
