Seremban police have clarified that a viral image showing the Malaysian flag being flown upside-down at the district police headquarters is not a recent incident.

District police chief Hatta Che Din said the image, which resurfaced on Facebook yesterday morning, was originally taken in 2016 during the Police Day celebration.

“The incident of the flag being flown upside down occurred in 2016. The image first went viral in 2019 and has now resurfaced for the second time.

“It was detected that the photograph was spread by an irresponsible individual,” he said in a statement today.

Hatta (above) urged the public not to recirculate the old image to avoid creating negative perceptions or doubts among the public.

The latest public outcry follows an incident in Penang, which led to the arrest of hardware store owner Feng Jin Zhen, who was remanded overnight and released on bail.

True.. but it did happen and show that everyone, including the police, can make a mistake... we do not need to start a war over such a mistake..
A crime is a crime. Police should know better. Akmal, over to you. Where are you hiding now?
The simple error in penang (like what happened at the police headquarters) was also spread by another irresponsible person or persons, and irresponsible politicians. Was any police personnel charged for the error? If not, then it would be irresponsible to charge the shopkeeper. You need to charge the sh!t stirrers provoking hatred.
Regardless whether the incident was in 2016 or recent, this shows even PDRM can make mistakes. Is PDRM unpatriotic?

So don't let anyone try to make this seem like a patriotic issue especially when it is targeted at non Malays by serial racial instigators/politicians like Akmal. Unfair actions can only divide the country.
So the police is saying the photo is not edited but this did indeed happen some years ago. Looks like people do make mistakes after all. Isn't that the whole point being made with this photo?
“It was detected that the photograph was spread by an irresponsible individual,” he said in a statement today.

When prdm blunder is spread virally in socialmedia, it is irresponsible.
But
When the Facebook user, Akmal and all others viral what a NM did wrong, it is patriotic and nationalistic.

What and when the Ministry of Education did the same mistake?
What and when the PAS kindergarten did the same mistake?

Semua ok?

Prdm is called enforcement???
There were so many precedents of national flag being displayed upside down and no drastic penalties were imposed. As such, this Ah Pek (the name calling is rather derogatory if based on Malaysian Chinese culture to address an older person of only 59 years old) should be accorded the same treatment as well.
So who was responsible in 2016? Any response from umno youth that the police are involved? Or is their outrage selective and therefore just fake sentiments of a pretend hero?
And by the way, is there an expiry date for photos and videos of Prdm doing wrong?

More so as enforcement agencies????

Amy apology so far?
Anyone internally disciplined so far?

Prdm is a uniformed agency which should carry a higher standard of patriotism as an example to us, the lay people eg the uncle in Penang.
Korang pun tak lain.
Siapa nak salahkan siapa sekarang?

Stop this story of
" old story, irresponsible, etc
Memamg terjadi kan?
Cukup!!
Akmal, where were you in 2016?

In Rusia then?

Will you go after the whole station or just the guy?
