According to the official list issued by DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke, Finance Deputy Minister Lim Hui Ying was also among those appointed to the CEC.
The other members are as follows:

3. Banting assemblyperson V Papparaidu
4. DAP assistant secretary Yap Yee Vonne

In December 2023, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim dropped Sivakumar (above, left) from the cabinet and replaced him with Steven Sim.
The decision was linked to a MACC probe against the former minister over a migrant worker recruitment scandal.
Five of Sivakumar’s officers implicated in the scandal were sacked.
The former Perak state assembly speaker also contested in the party polls in March this year but failed to get voted into the CEC.
As for Hui Ying (above, right), she also failed to get elected into the CEC, coming in at 31st place with 1,573 votes.
She was edged out for the 30th spot by Beruas MP Ngeh Khoo Ham, who got 1,584 votes.
