Did NATO Chief Vow To Kick US Out Over Trump's Ukraine Plan?

Did NATO Chief Vow To Kick US Out Over Trump's Ukraine Plan? What We Know

Rumors are circulating online that NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has said he will kick the U.S. out of the alliance due to President-elect Donald Trump's plan to end the war in Ukraine.

The allegations on X, formerly known as Twitter, of Rutte's expulsion of the U.S. from NATO followed the publication of a note in Pravda EN, a Russian news portal, on Sunday. It originated from a post on Telegram.

The unsourced note said, "NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said that if Trump surrenders Ukraine to Putin, he will personally kick the U.S. out of the alliance. All NATO Secretaries General are so feeble-minded. Stoltenberg was ready to start a nuclear war with Russia, and Rutte is the same way."

The false claims also came in the wake of Trump's advisers telling The Wall Street Journal in an article published Wednesday that the president-elect "makes his own calls on national-security issues, many times in the moment, particularly on an issue as central as this."

When discussing his plans for the war in Ukraine, Trump has previously said that he would end it "within 24 hours" and in addition to pushing for a ceasefire, his advisers "uniformly recommend freezing the war in place."

Newsweek has found that Rutte made no statements regarding the U.S.' alleged expulsion from NATO on his social media platforms, or during a NATO doorstep statement on Thursday in which he congratulated the president-elect. — Newsweek

And …

Trump Should Not Let Putin Claim Victory in Ukraine, Says NATO Official

A senior NATO military official suggested on Saturday that any peace deal negotiated by President-elect Donald J. Trump that allowed President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia to claim victory in Ukraine would undermine the interests of the United States.

In a wide-ranging interview on the sidelines of a European defense summit in Prague, Adm. Rob Bauer, the Dutch chairman of NATO’s Military Committee, said: “If you allow a nation like Russia to win, to come out of this as the victor, then what does it mean for other autocratic states in the world where the U.S. has also interests?”

He added: “It’s important enough to talk about Ukraine on its own, but there is more at stake than just Ukraine.”

Mr. Trump has said repeatedly that he could end the war in Ukraine in a day, without saying how. A settlement outlined by Vice President-elect JD Vance in September echoes what people close to the Kremlin say Mr. Putin wants: allowing Russia to keep the territory it has captured and guaranteeing that Ukraine will not join NATO.

A spokeswoman for Mr. Trump’s transition team, Karoline Leavitt, said he was re-elected because the American people “trust him to lead our country and restore peace through strength around the world.”

“When he returns to the White House, he will take the necessary actions to do just that,” Ms. Leavitt said on Saturday. — NYT

Our Take: My recommendation is that Admiral Bobby Bauer sit down and shut the gaping noise-hole in the middle of his face.

Remember who works for whom, here, Bobby. NATO is about one wet fart away from being tossed into the ash heap of history, and I can assure you that the American People are giddy over the prospect of dismantling the entire bureaucratic ecosystem that surrounds it.

I'll defer to Professor Jeffery Sachs. (Clip from his appearance on Judge Napolitano's show last week.)

As for Mark Rutte: he is a globalist stooge who will likely get NATO involved in a direct kinetic conflict with Russia—my money is on the theater being Syria rather than Ukraine.

The [likely false] story about him kicking the US out of NATO is a milestone, because it demonstrates how the balance of power in the narrative war has shifted. Anons now have the ability to make fake stories about real life scoundrels go viral, and while that may sound dangerous—and it most certainly is—it does level the playing field, to a certain extent.

The western hegemony possesses the most powerful media apparatus in human history, and has the ability to destroy the life of any individual or group who opposes it. It only seems natural that the online grassroots would eventually develop a countermeasure to this weapon—even if that countermeasure represents an escalation in the nefarious nature of 5th generation warfare.

Badlands Media actually demonstrated this countermeasure on election night, when Jon—while on livestream—posted in real time that Badlands was projecting Donald Trump as the winner of the presidential race, and the post received over a thousand reposts in a matter of seconds. (Thanks to our very based audience.)

Doesn't feel so good to be on the receiving end of malignant fake news, huh guys? — GhostofBasedPatrickHenry

Breaking News: Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby resigns after report into sexual abuse of children

World economic Forum member and devotee of Klaus Schwab resigns in disgrace.

It comes after the independent Makin review into John Smyth QC's abuse of children and young men was published last week.

The Archbishop of Canterbury has resigned after a report found the Church of England covered up sexual abuse by a barrister.

The independent Makin review into John Smyth QC's abuse of children and young men was published last week.

Across five decades in three different countries and involving as many as 130 boys and young men in the UK and Africa, John Smyth QC is said to have subjected his victims to traumatic physical, sexual, psychological and spiritual attacks, permanently marking their lives.

The report concluded he might have been brought to justice had Mr Welby formally reported it to police a decade ago.

In a resignation letter Justin Welby said: "Having sought the gracious permission of His Majesty The King, I have decided to resign.

Trump's world tour during his first term should have given you the hint that he wasn't working alone.

And it also should have told you he wasn't kidding about the storm.

Ego had exactly zero to do with Trump being the spear head of an operation that saved the world.

Susie Wiles, the next White House chief of staff, privately told a group of Republican donors on Monday that President-elect Donald J. Trump would move on his first day in office to reinstate several executive orders from Mr. Trump’s first term that President Biden had revoked, according to two people in the room who insisted on anonymity to describe the closed-door remarks.

The comments by Ms. Wiles, a Florida political strategist who oversaw Mr. Trump’s winning campaign, were some of her first since he chose her last week as his chief of staff. She was speaking and answering questions in Las Vegas at a private, biannual meeting of the Rockbridge Network, a group of conservative donors that was co-founded by Vice President-elect JD Vance and that has strong representation from the tech industry

Ms. Wiles emphasized to the group that the window for Mr. Trump to revolutionize government was more like two years, rather than four. So being prepared on Day 1, she said, was critical. It appeared to be an acknowledgment that most presidents face a difficult midterm election cycle after two years in office.

Transitions are both long and short at the same time, Ms. Wiles said, according to one of the people in the room.

Ms. Wiles and fellow aides also regaled some donors with stories from the campaign trail. At one point, she was asked how the campaign had responded to the first assassination attempt against Mr. Trump. She told the crowd that the campaign had frequently been targeted by hackers and had encountered threats regarding Mr. Trump’s plane.

🤣CNN is reportedly set to nix some of its top talent in a round of post-election layoffs.

The rumblings, first reported by Puck News, come as high-paid personalities like Jake Tapper and Wolf Blitzer were reportedly recently denied raises.

The two already boast salaries of $7million and $3million, while stars like Anderson Cooper take home an annual $20million.

Kaitlan Collins and Erin Burnett also command huge earnings - $3million and $6million respectively.

Insiders told Puck the new round of firings will likely see on-air talent like them affected, as the network's new CEO looks to free up finances amid waning ratings.

'In the next few months, I’m told, CNN will implement another round of layoffs that will impact hundreds of employees across the organization,' reporter Dylan Byers wrote Friday, referencing CNN's recent 100-person layoff seen over the summer.

The fresh round of firings, the insiders said, will be more geared toward the production side of things.

As a result, reporters and correspondents will be required to cover their slack, they said - describing how on-air workers will be 'asked to assume more of the responsibilities once handled by teams of producers and production assistants.'

Byers wrote: 'Redundant assignments will be nixed, and various divisions will be reduced or even eliminated.

'Some of the on-air talent are also likely to be affected,' he went on to reveal.

Former Trump National Security Advisor Michael Flynn predicted that not all 17 of the offices that make up the intelligence community will be present in two years.

"I can't imagine that two years from now we're going to continue to have the 17 Intel agencies," Flynn, a retired Army lieutenant general, said Monday on the "John Solomon Reports" podcast. "I just cannot see that if we're going to move this country forward in a way that needs to be moved forward where we're sort of that shining city on the hill."

There are 17 offices that make up the intelligence community, including the Central Intelligence Agency and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

Flynn argued there's been too much overlap and overspending of taxpayer dollars on them.

"There's so much waste in the intelligence community ... and overlapping ineffective and inefficient communication systems," he said.

Flynn also said intelligence agencies such as the CIA have strayed from their mission of protecting the American people.

The AP reports, and for those that need to be told, it is unconfirmed, President-elect Donald Trump will nominate former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee as ambassador to Israel, Trump announced Tuesday.

Huckabee is a staunch defender of Israel and his intended nomination comes as Trump has promised to align U.S. foreign policy more closely with Israel’s interests as it wages wars against the Iran-backed Hamas and Hezbollah.

“Mike has been a great public servant, Governor, and Leader in Faith for many years,” Trump said in a statement. “He loves Israel, and the people of Israel, and likewise, the people of Israel love him. Mike will work tirelessly to bring about Peace in the Middle East!”

Elizabeth Warren says Trump is 'breaking the law' by not signing GSA ethics agreement

It is common practice for an incoming presidential administration to sign an ethics agreement with the General Services Administration as they begin their transition to power in the White House. President-elect Donald Trump, however, who served in the White House just four years ago, has not signed one and Senator Elizabeth Warren is calling foul.

"Donald Trump and his transition team are already breaking the law," the Massachusetts senator posted. I would know because I wrote the law. Incoming presidents are required to prevent conflicts of interest and sign an ethics agreement. This is what illegal corruption looks like."

Trump and his team are meant to submit an ethics plan to the GSA stating outright that any conflicts of interest will be avoided. That legally required ethics pledge was supposed to be submitted by October 1. The transition team has drafted a private ethics code for staff regarding conflicts of interest, but apparently those documents do not discuss safeguards for any potential conflicts of interest for Trump himself or how he would address those should they arise during his second term in office.

Justin Trudeau has sparked outrage after refusing to release the names of 900 alleged Nazi war criminals who fled to Canada after the Second World War.

Jewish groups have called the decision, 'disgraceful' and say it dishonors Holocaust victims and survivors.

The Canadian government is concealing the list of names amid fears it could be too embarrassing for the country, TNC reports.

Large numbers of Ukrainian SS Waffen soldiers relocated to Canada following the war.

Officials said there are also concerns the list could be used as Russian propaganda against Ukraine amid Vladimir Putin's ongoing invasion of the eastern European nation.

The list of members of the Nazi-led SS Galicia unit was compiled by the Commission of Inquiry on War Criminals in Canada.

The panel then met with members of the Ukrainian community and 'discrete group of individuals or organizations' to consult on whether the names should be released.

But they did not meet with ant Holocaust survivors or advocates pushing for the list's released, the Ottawa Citizen reports.

WSJ: The Trump transition team is considering a draft executive order that establishes a “warrior board” of retired senior military personnel with the power to review three- and four-star officers and to recommend removals of any deemed unfit for leadership.

If President Trump approves the order, it could fast-track the removal of generals and admirals found to be “lacking in requisite leadership qualities,” according to a draft of the order reviewed by The Wall Street Journal. But it could also create a chilling effect on top military officers, given the president-elect’s past vow to fire “woke generals,” referring to officers seen as promoting diversity in the ranks at the expense of military readiness.

Speaking out for the first time since she was fired, Marn'i Washington accused the Federal Emergency Management Agency of 'lying' about the scandal, and making her the scapegoat of a wider practice.

Washington told DailyMail.com she is seeking an attorney and is 'at risk' as a result of the backlash she's received. 'I have information that proves FEMA is lying,' she said.

In a podcast appearance last night, she went further - claiming more FEMA employees are guilty of the same bias, but that she is the only one being hung out to dry.

'FEMA preaches avoidance first, and then de-escalation. This is not isolated. This is a colossal event of avoidance,' Washington said in an interview with YouTube podcaster Roland Martin.

'Not just in the state of Florida. You will find avoidance in the Carolinas,' she revealed.

She says she was directly following FEMA protocol when she issued the controversial directive.

A writer for a conservative media outlet pleaded guilty on Tuesday to joining a mob’s attack on the U.S. Capitol nearly four years ago, after a federal judge refused to pause his case until after President-elect Donald Trump takes office.

Steve Baker, who has written articles about the Jan. 6, 2021, riot for Blaze News, entered his guilty plea on the day that his bench trial had been scheduled to begin.

U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper is scheduled to sentence Baker on March 6, but the judge acknowledged that the case may never reach the punishment stage. Trump has repeatedly vowed to issue pardons to Jan. 6 riot defendants.

Baker, 64, of Durham, North Carolina, had asked Cooper to postpone all of the deadlines and hearings for his case until after Trump's inauguration. But the judge denied Baker’s request. Other judges have rejected similar requests by Capitol riot defendants who hope Trump will pardon them.

After his guilty plea, Baker told reporters that he is "very confident that I'm at the top of the list" if Trump hands out pardons. Baker said he pleaded guilty “to avoid the shaming exercise of a trial” and maintained that he didn't do anything wrong on Jan. 6.

For his second term Trump and his advisors are going through candidates for jobs inside a private room at Mar-a-Lago.
