The Social Security Organisation has also been told to ‘totally revamp’ its SOP to curb cases of falsified claims.
Human resources minister Steven Sim said Socso has also been instructed to totally revamp the SOP for these claims, Berita Harian reported.

Three orthopaedic specialists and 30 others have been remanded by MACC for between one and three days to assist in its investigation into a cartel allegedly involved in falsifying RM2.1 million worth of Socso disability claims.
It is understood that the cartel, allegedly active since 2017, was involved in making false claims related to spinal injuries and anterior cruciate ligament injuries.
It allegedly saw claimants who received the money taking 50%, while the remaining 50% was distributed among the doctors, agents and runners.
Citing an MACC source, Sinar Harian said the 30 comprised 19 claimants, eight agents and three runners, aged 26 to 60.
Two of the doctors are said to be from two government hospitals while one is from a private hospital in Seberang Jaya.
