Managing The Economy By Kun Fa Ya Kun : 'I Dont Care. I Boleh 10 Kali Lebih Kasar'

 

Folks this  short video here is a must watch. 

This is how managing the economy by 'kun-fa-ya-kun' is done. 
Kun-fa-ya-kun is arabic, it means 'Be and it is'.  

The equivalent phrase in the English Bible is possibly in Genesis 1:3-4 "And god said, “Let there be light,” and there was light".

Otherwise known as managing by decree. Managing by giving orders. This system can only work if you have the power to create the universe. If you do not have the power to create the universe then please dont pretend to be all powerful.

In the video above you see the gomen's enforcement officer (correction : I have been informed the fellow is a YB and an Exco of Melaka) going around issuing decrees on how the businessman should manage his business. 

And he is issuing his orders on the threat of cancelling the poor guy's license. 

THIS IS THE PROBLEM WITH THIS ENTIRE COUNTRY. THEY JUST DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW BUSINESS AND THE ECONOMY FUNCTIONS. 

They really believe that the economy can be managed by giving orders KUN FA YA KUN style.

Well let me tell you - TAK BOLEH LAH. The economy does not function that way at all.

WHY IS THERE A GOMEN LICENSED MONOPOLY FOR THE IMPORT OF RICE INTO THE COUNTRY? WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE GOMEN LICENSED MONOPOLY?

HELLO KUN FA YA KUN ECONOMISTS AND OTHER VERY STUPID FOOLS CAN YOU PLEASE EXPLAIN?

IF THE GOMEN LICENSED RICE IMPORT MONOPOLY IS TO GUARANTEE FOOD SECURITY (RICE SUPPLY) AND STABILISE PRICES WELL THEY ARE FAILING IN BOTH.

THERE IS A SHORTAGE OF RICE AND THE PRICES OF RICE HAVE ALL GONE UP.

SO WHAT IS THE USE OF HAVING A RICE IMPORT MONOPOLY?

DID YOU KNOW THAT ANYONE CAN "SOURCE" RICE FROM OVERSEAS? FIRST YOU MUST DO ALL THE WORK OF SOURCING THE RICE AND SHIPPING IT HERE. BUT BEFORE THAT YOU MUST  PAY THE RICE IMPORT MONOPOLY xy% (two digits) "ADMINISTRATIVE FEE", "PROCESSING FEE" OR WHATEVER THEY CALL IT. THEN ONLY IMPORT THE RICE - UNDER THEIR NAME.

This is no different from the AP King to import cars that we had in the country during Pak Lah and the other PMs. Dont know if he is still around. Anyone could import cars into the country. Just pay the AP King for the AP. 

So where or what is the value added?
Ok so you licensed a rice import monopoly. 
For what purpose? Untuk tujuan apa? 
To secure rice supplies? To stabilise prices of rice. 

Both have failed.
Because now there is a serious rice shortage. 
And prices of rice have gone up. 
So what is the purpose of the rice import monopoly?

So now you use the enforcement officers.
