Time for DAP to take Hadi to court
YOURSAY | ‘Don’t bash Hadi, prove him wrong.’
Hadi: PAS cannot step into ‘DAP’s kitchen’
Kilimanjaro: This charade will go on unless and until the DAP takes Hadi to court. Hadi will continue with his lies to harvest the Malay Muslim votes. Hesitation in refuting the lies may appear as truth to some Malays.
Corner him the way Claire Rewcastle-Brown (Sarawak Report) did and made him and PAS poorer by RM1 million. The DAP leadership should wake up. To DAP supremo Lim Kit Siang, stop the noise and bring in the thunder. I believe that is what the late Karpal Singh would have done.
These PAS guys were so scared of Karpal - remember the talk of an Islamic state and how Karpal reiterated by saying "over his dead body" (bless his soul) and warned them that he will take them to court.
So, DAP, please do something, we are getting irritated and belittled by this man's lies.
Maya: The history and the words spewed out (by Hadi) totally make no sense. It is outright hilarious and pretty much words made out to show proof of his little knowledge of insanity. The only thing he is not worried about saying anything.
Now, BN will be silent on it. Anwar and PKR will pretty much take the silent route too. If that's the way the stand is taken, it will be worrying for the DAP and their supporters.
Anyway, we will wait for DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke to respond. He will need to respond appropriately so that it is clear to Hadi what they mean and will not take any form of DAP bashing.
The other question is, will PAS supporters believe Hadi? Of course, they will. Umno supporters maybe not, but rather stay politically silent.
Man on the Silver Mountain: PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang is stating his position again. He seems to widen the goalposts, but he is very clear on what he wants.
According to him, the real government of the land are the Rulers (Sultans) and the ulama dating from antiquity, and in 1511, they fought the Portuguese. He maintains that the government was Islamic, not secular.
Therefore, the true successors are not Umno and PKR which are secular and DAP, which is pendatang (immigrants). He is saying PKR and Umno are colluding with the pendatangs and therefore they do not fight for the Malays and Islam.
This will force the Malays to show their hands, take a stand and choose a side. He knows when it comes to that, his followers are reminded again to remain with PAS, the real successors of the government dating all the way back to 1511 and beyond.
One thing we can say about him is that he is very clear in his objective, and he says it plainly. He says by using religious references, is a very strong language that strikes deep into the Malays' psyche.
When he mentions that they cannot enter DAP’s “kitchen” because the food is “not halal”, this is a language that Malays know and understand.
However, much as they like to rationalise the government of the kafir (infidels), ultimately, they cannot allow themselves to be ruled by DAP simply because of religion.
Muslims who collude with non-Muslims to govern the country are therefore not to be followed as they are not fighting in tandem with the requirement of the religion.
This is the ideology that Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim is up against. Forget about bashing Hadi, rather challenge him on how wrong he is.
The Malays want to hear it, for them to be convinced that they must support the alternative of an Islamic government as claimed by PAS.
GanMu: Hadi is obsessed with extreme hatred for DAP, such that he can’t come to terms that the unity government between Pakatan Harapan, Umno, and East Malaysian parties. He is so paranoid that he only picks on DAP all the time.
He just can’t see anything Chinese. If it's Chinese, it's non-halal or DAP is a secular party. When he was in the government, what did he do - just what he is accusing Umno of - cari makan (making money)
Being a religious man, he should not have accepted the post of special envoy when he never travelled to the Middle East nor did any job in that post. He was enjoying gaji buta (paid for nothing) and he wants to lecture us.
Religious heads don’t insult nor denigrate others, they only preach about the virtues of their religion. This man is surely a threat to our peaceful co-existence. He should be marginalised and ostracised.
Goliath: Muslims are in fact, not easily persuaded into non-Islamic beliefs. Umno, for many years since our independence, is a Malay party with an open-minded acceptance of other races.
It is why BN was formed and there has been a coalition with MCA and MIC. Umno should never forget this. It is through BN initially that we exist as a country of multi-racial harmony.
PAS is destroying the very fibre of our existence and strengths, by professing a country of total Islamic dominating policy and the non-Islam as pendatangs with no rights to stay in this country. We are not like that, and we have never been.
Islam has always been this country’s main religion and the rights of the Malays have never been challenged or rewritten by any other party.
Don’t let PAS push its evil agenda across the nation, paint Umno with negative perceptions and turn us into fighting one another over privileges and religion.

There is an unwritten but definitely authoritative rule in Malaysia that Hadi has full , complete immunity.
ReplyDeleteOver the years, Hadi has made many statements touching on Race, Religion and Royalty that would have landed almost any body else with arrest and prosecution. Yet here he is, untouchable.
