Hadi claims European countries not helping quake-hit Turkey
More than 40,000 people have died following an earthquake that hit southern Turkey and Syria on Feb 6.

PETALING JAYA: PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang has hit out at European nations for failing to help Turkey following the devastating earthquake which hit the country last week.
He said many European governments are instead busy helping Ukraine fight the war against Russia.
“More than 41,000 people have died so far and thousands more injured. European countries have not demonstrated any effort to help the quake-hit Turkey.
“Therefore, it has become our responsibility to help them,” he said in a tweet.
On Feb 6, an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.8 on the Richter scale hit southern Turkey and Syria. Turkish authorities say at least 38,044 people have been killed in the country. The Syrian government and the United Nations say more than 5,800 people have died there.

Malaysia has sent two SMART teams, including two tracking dogs (K9), as well as built a level-three field hospital run by the armed forces.
Malaysia has also channelled humanitarian aid to Turkey and Syria amounting to RM20 million, while the foreign affairs disaster fund has so far collected RM25 million in donations.
Besides Malaysia, the global community, including many European nations, has also rallied behind Turkey, contradicting Hadi’s claim.
The United Kingdom itself had sent 76 search and rescue specialists with equipment and dogs, as well as an emergency medical team; France has sent 71 rescue workers and 65 firefighters, while Spain has sent two urban search and rescue teams with 85 personnel and a contingent of volunteer firefighters.
Other European countries that have put in great effort to help Turkey with aid and rescue workers include Italy, Germany, Poland, Greece, Romania, Croatia, and the Czech Republic.

He Demands. Anyway Nato Sec Gen has arrive in Turkey and they are negotiating and let's see. Gut feel is stop the boycott on Finland and SWEDEN. SO LETS WAIT AND SEE , WHO BLINKS FIRST. EU AID FOR SAYING YES TO NEW NATO MEMBERSHIPS.
