'PAS leaks' meant to prevent Muafakat from being reactivated - Umno man


"PAS leaks" are the work of those who do not want Muafakat Nasional to be reactivated and further increase the hatred of certain groups in Umno towards PAS, said former Putrajaya Umno division deputy chief Tun Faisal Ismail Aziz.

He said PAS leaks, which have gone viral on social media, were not the minutes of a meeting or any planning but notes that were made by someone unknown and it's also not known whether or not its content is true or exaggerated.

Faisal (above), who is also the press secretary to Communications and Multimedia Minister Annuar Musa, said that for Umno, PAS leaks were seen as being able to reignite the polemics of two groups, namely “Umno Go Solo” and “Muafakat Ummah”.

“For supporters of Muafakat Ummah, surely the news received without clearly knowing who is the source should be handled with care. Better to ask PAS and see if the extent to which the consensus agenda to defeat enemies with different ideologies is still strong in them,” he said in a post on his Facebook page today.

He said for the supporters of this group, Muafakat could still be reactivated so as to ensure the goal of winning a two-thirds majority in the 15th general election.

Annuar Musa is so worried that he has not only defended Muafakat Nasional (MN) vis-a-vis the "PAS plot-leaks", but also had his press secretary in his Communications and Multimedia Ministry made a defensive explanation that the "PAS leaks" are the work of those who do not want MN to be reactivated and further increase the hatred of certain groups in Umno towards PAS.

Why has Annuar Musa gone to such an extent, leading Zahid to query his (Annuar's) loyalty?

Annuar is so adamantly pro Muafakat Nasional (MN), not because MN is a gift of Allah swt as so flowerly claimed by Annuar himself but because he fears for his own seat Ketereh in GE15.

Annuar's performance in GE14 was fortuitous that PRIBUMI Bersatu (PPBM, then PH) and PAS were in a 3-corner fight with him, with the results as follows:

2018		Annuar Musa (UMNO)	25,467	47.95%		Mohd Radzi Md Jidin (PPBM)	6,799	12.80%	53,107	4626	83.39%
						Wan Ismail Wan Jusoh (PAS)	20,841	39.24%

Had PPBM and PAS joined up as a coalition as they will be in the coming GE15, Annuar Musa may be toast if the same results were to be obtained, with his opponent securing 52% votes to his 48%. 

There is no sincerity in Annuar Musa's attempt to be inclusive to PAS with all his kerbau about MN and Allah's gift - in the end you'll find he's only looking after No 1, wakakaka.
