Hadi losing his marbles over fear and jealousy, Kadir Jasin claims

In a swipe against the PAS supremo, veteran newsman A Kadir Jasin said Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang was ranting away due to fear of losing power.

“Hadi is suffering from silence syndrome and fears losing his post. He is not celebrated as a Perikatan Nasional minister and his men are superior in terms of power and glamour.

“He also fears that the Government may fall when the Parliament reconvenes, with the Emergency ending soon. Rejoice while time lasts,” he said in a blog post.

Lately, Hadi has been using his party organ HarakahDaily to issue warnings, claiming plotters were planning to overthrow the Government.

Using the religion card, he also criticised Pakatan Harapan earlier, claiming the latter were undermining Islam and the monarchs during their brief administration.

Hadi not welcomed in the Middle East

Kadir, a loyalist of former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, said that Hadi and other PAS leaders have been acting “weird”, adding they were not producing any results in the last one year.

For starters, he noted that Hadi played little role in the recent Israel-Palestine conflict and other matters related to Malaysia’s ties to the Middle East, despite serving as Special Envoy to the Middle East.

“He was also absent during Prime Minister Tan Sri Mahiaddin Yassin’s visit to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates in March. Of course, his supporters claimed it was due to Hadi’s poor health.

“But if Hadi is not well, why appoint him to such an important position? No one forced him to carry the burden of trust that he cannot bear,” Kadir stated.

Elaborating, Kadir said that Hadi was unpopular among Arab countries, adding Mahiaddin gave him a plush position to turn him over and be the boss of the PAS president.

He also mocked Hadi for a post the latter posted weeks ago, claiming the Vatican City celebrated Portuguese’s conquest of Melaka in 1511.

“He forgot even villagers have long participated in mainstream communication driven by social media.

“Then the rain base was immediately broken once Hadi was schooled that the Vatican did not exist in 1511. The Vatican was only founded in 1929,” he remarked. – July 5, 2021.
