As PN leaders hail budget, Najib says BN support hinges on amendments
Najib Razak says BN will only support the budget for next year if two conditions are met
KUALA LUMPUR: Barisan Nasional backbencher chief Najib Razak today said they will only support the 2021 budget if the government makes amendments to the Supply Bill.
He said they want the government to extend the loan moratorium by six months and allow a one-off RM10,000 withdrawal from the Employers Provident Fund (EPF).
“Our support (for the budget) is based on these two conditions. It is a conditional support,” he said in his 90-minute speech during the budget debate at the Dewan Rakyat today.
Najib’s remarks came as Perikatan Nasional leaders voiced support for the budget.

ReplyDeleteNo wonder Maria Chin and other MPs walked out of parliament when the convicted criminal was allowed to debate the budget.
Of which 42 million was transferred to pay his personal credit card bills, he was charged, found guilty, convicted and sentenced to jail. But KT continue to be Jibby's megaphone and bullhorn.
