Mahathir claims both DAP and Amanah supports his latest choice of Shafie Apdal as Pakatan Harapan's PM designate, with Anwar Ibrahim and Mukhriz Mahathir as DPMs.
But DAP Guan Eng and Amanah Mat Sabu tap-danced away from Mahathir's attempt to foist a fait accompli onto their laps by saying their meeting with Dr Mahathir Mohamad on Thursday was just an informal berbual-bual and that the Apdal-as-PM suggestion was a "new option". Both stated they want to discuss this option with their respective parties first before presenting it to their respective presidential council for agreement.
Mahathir as usual has been sly, tricky and sneaky in suggesting DAP and Amanah have already agreed with his personal Apdal option - which is nothing more than a deliberate eff-up of Anwar's hopes, and also as a new exposure of Mukhriz as a future DPM.
But he just couldn't help his usual imperialistic self from "deciding" on issue as if it's been approved (by him of course).

5 MPs want to be PM, now 9 MPs want to be PM. DAP got 42MPs, give-lah DPM, Gobind gets my vote....why must always be Malay....
ReplyDeleteWhy DAP and Amanah have to be so polite to Dr M words about them having agreed with him on Shafie as PM with Anwar ang Murkriz as DPMs candidates. When an old man has lost his marbles, he should be ignored. Mat Sabu and LGE should have just said "We do not understand what the old is saying" Period.
