Weather, not GST, blamed

key word to read in TMI headlines is "marginally", wakakaka

Previously (before the general election) a reporter in TMI wrote an article that the prices of non-GST fresh food like kembong and kerang increased because the damn GST, and in the case of kerang, by as much as 150%, to wit, from RM4 to RM10, denying the reporter's so-called purportedly-anaemic "Siti Zahara" from enjoying her kerang.

Now, a different story has been reported, where the photo above shows the caption "The price of fresh produce and vegetables depends on the weather and has nothing to do with the deeply unpopular GST".

That the GST was zero-rated on 01 June has fAAk-all to do with the prices.

And do note the key word to read in TMI headlines is "marginally", just in case prices of fresh food rise, wakakaka. No more "Siti Zahara" and her anaemia.

But what fake news then (pre-election). What deceit. What dishonesty. What evil propaganda.

Now the need to protect the current Pakatan government from public anger against price increases of non-GST fresh food (chilies, vegetables, uncooked food, etc) becomes a vital information necessity which was denied to the previous administration. This time the weather is blamed.
