State DAP chairman Chong Chieng Jen said this was agreed in a Sarawak Pakatan Harapan meeting here on Monday (April 9).
"In Sarawak, the use of logo is a matter that rests solely on Sarawak Pakatan.
"We have decided that DAP will use the rocket symbol while PKR and Amanah will both use the PKR logo," he told reporters after the meeting at state DAP headquarters here.
"The sentiment of the people and accessibility of information is different. In certain areas, people are so used to DAP that if there is a sudden change of logo, our message may not be able to reach all voters and this may cause a disadvantage," he said.
Excellent decision Chong, though it's not correct when you said, "The sentiment of the people and accessibility of information is different.
In actuality, the sentiment of the people in Peninsular vis-a-vis politics is EXACTLY the same as their brethren in Sarawak. We too prefer to fly the Rocket.
But the DAP in Peninsular has been forced to switch to the PKR 'blue moon' on instructions by Mahathir and only under stern instructions from you-know-who.
And henceforth, DAP in Peninsular is NOT even allowed to display the Rocket during the election campaign.

Or DAP Sarawak & Sabah are autonomous parties to DAP Central and can secede anytime they like to join other parties?
