The 35-year-old, who is the daughter of renowned local chef Datuk Chef Wan, told mStar Online that she was shocked that her followers were so “emotional” about the picture that she had posted on Instagram.
She said that some of her supporters even went to the extent of unfollowing her Instagram account.
“It’s okay if you don’t like it, why must people label me as desperate, I am fine, I am running my business the ‘halal’ way,” the entrepreneur who runs a food and beverage company said on her instagram post.
“I am not forcing anyone to choose BN.
“The government I vote for is the one that has helped former soldiers and celebrities, my late grandfather was a soldier,” she said.
Supporters also commented that they would boycott her business for posting the picture.
Serina asserted through replies in the post that her decision to vote for BN was influenced by her late grandfather, who was a former soldier in the country.
It's what Maryam Lee (of #UndiRosak) called emotional blackmail coupled with lying. It usually comes with very aggressive threats, vile abuses and sheer fabrications.
If you have commented like Siti Nurhaliza or Sheila Majid you would have been adulated. Their difference with you is they support Mahathir and Pakatan, whilst you support BN.

But the attack on you in fact gives everyone an indication of how their (those attack hounds') government and society will be, should they win the election - a totally intolerant society where every citizen in their type of country will have to shut up or be incarcerated, in other words, they will curtail our freedom of speech, association and even thinking.
