Stop state-sanctioned murder

From MM Online (extracts):

IPOH, Feb 9 — A 30-year-old lorry attendant has been sentenced to death after the High Court here found him guilty of drug trafficking two years ago.

S. Pragasam, who was charged under Section 39B (1)(a) of the Dangerous Drug Act 1952, was found guilty of trafficking 101.2g of heroin and 8.9g of monoacetylmorphine at house number 127, Jalan Pengkalan Barat 32, Taman Puteri Lindungan Bulan in Pasir Puteh on May 11 2016 at about 7.30pm.

Please cease this inhumane punishment. We mortals should not kill a person in the name of the law.

  2. We who support strict enforcement of deterrent penalties also have the Democratic right to demand that the maximum sanction under the law be imposed for such heinous crimes as murder and trafficking in narcotics.

Of course, due process and a fair trial must be observed.

The most profitable and most despicable illegal business sector in the world is the trafficking of addictive narcotics.

Their profits eclipse the earnings of any legal business enterprise in the world.

I fully support the policy of No Mercy for those convicted of such trafficking activities.

    1. recognising the seriousness of a crime does NOT mean we as a civilised society have to behave like barbaric tribesmen who would demand the death of the criminal - the IS does that. We can lock the person up for life (real life and no parole)

  3. Trafficking drugs is no different than trafficking weapons & humans. If we are to legalise drug trafficking & use, why not abolish limits to gun ownership & slavery as well?
