Prince Charles, probably future King of Britain unless the Queen chooses to bypass him and bequeaths the throne directly to her grandson William, is now visiting Malaysia officially despite his adulterous shame.

ReplyDeleteHowever, King David was a Jew, as there was no Christianity back during his time.
As for Mr. Charles Windsor, he is human after all, not some divine being, though many people may regard him as such.
King David was more than just an adulterer. He was a murderer of many, the most sinful of whom was Uriah, Bathsheba's husband. After f**king Bathsheba while her husband Uriah was fighting David's battles in war, when she became pregnant, he had Uriah sent to the thickest part of battle with an explicit instruction for Israeli troops to abandon the general unsupported and to be of course killed.
DeleteThere were more of King David's sins but as the Old Testament was written by members of his House of Judah, many of his sins and crimes and treachery against Israel were glossed over and?or redacted.
King David could be regarded as the MOST EVIL man in the Old Testament, not unlike his ancestors, Jacob who cheated his own father Isaac, and Judah, who had sex with his own daughter in law (after more likely in my opinion, murdering his own 2 sons).
An affair he was engaged in 20 years ago, no doubt execrable, should not be a permanent stain on him.He has been an exemplary Royal as well as father in the years since.
ReplyDeleteMany men (and women) in a relationship have had some "indiscretions" at some time or another. How many shall cast the first stone ?
This picture of Charles and Camilla looks so genuinely happy with each other....and there are other snapshots too in other publications (as well as videos ) showing them really happy with each other. In contrast, there were little or almost no such 'happy face' picture of Charles and his former wife Diana...poor Diana with her ill-fated love and marriage and tragic end. Life is short.....so let's not begrudge whatever happiness that could be grasped at.
