Recommendations for Azmin Ali

Given the current chaotic confusion in Pakatan on who is a friend or foe, especially with Azmin Ali's slutting with PAS, there is a brilliant suggestion in one of the newspaper's interactive column for a new set of coalition, namely:

a. BN (the usual mob)

b. Pakatan Harapan (Pribumi, DAP, Amanah and Hindraf), and

c. PKR and PAS

What do you think?

I have to admit I like it, wakakaka.

  2. “Politics is the art of the possible, the attainable — the art of the next best” : Otto von Bismarck -the "Iron Chancellor" of Germany.

Who would have dreamt that they would live to see the day when Kit Siang would ally with Mahathir but it has happened, albeit for political expediency of course - i.e. with the sole objective to defeat UMNO/BN and hence Najib and to capture the Perdana Botanical Garden (formerly Lake Gardens) - i.e. where the Federal Parliament is actually located and not in Putrajaya.

Whoever would have thought that several parties including Kelana Jaya Umno Youth Division and Solidariti Anak Muda Malaysia (SAMM) had reported to the Selangor MACC regarding the settlement of tens of millions of ringgit contracts between Unisel and JNSB, which led to MACC raids on Menteri Besar Selangor Incorporated (MBI), Universiti Selangor (Unisel) and Jana Niaga Sdn Bhd (JNSB) office on 22 August 2017 morning to investigate contractual disputes and misuse of power in the three agencies.

So anything is possible in Malaysian politics,so I would not be surprised if th Azmin faction within PKR were to ally with PAS, especially if Azmin is toppled in what is to come out of these MACC raids.

Oh! I have also heard through the grapvine, teh tarik talk that Anwar (and perhaps also his faction within PKR) may rejoin UMNO, which could well be possible, since Parti KeAdilAn was originally created following Anwar being booted out of UMNO following his fallout with Mahathir and the Reformasi movement which Anwar created and led against Mahathir.

The question is, what major issues does Anwar have against UMNO, now that Najib is its leader and Malaysian Prime Minister.

So that teh tarik chatter could well turn out to be true.

Quite frankly, I don't think these politicians care for the people of Malaysia - mere pawns whom they use and manipulate in their game of thrones and in their respective quests for political power.

Thus we the "plaebian masses" should beware, lest we unwittingly become their useful idiots.

  3. There are precedents of "Government of National Unity" in the Westminster system, especially during periods of grave national threats. The best known case is Britain during World War II. The Conservatives had the majority in Parliament, but Labour leaders were invited into the Cabinet, and were involved in key government decisions.

However, the Unity Government worked principally because the PM Winston Churchill was widely respected as a person of solid integrity, whether you agreed with his politics or hated it.
In Malaysia, the current PM Najib is a No Integrity person, and it is virtually impossible for anyone who values Transparency and Integrity to work with such a person.
